have reviewed my email inbox and did not receive any of the communications she purports to have sent.   The State of Wisconsin approved our rooms the way they are today.  We are not required to put blinds on our windows or handicapped bars in our showers.  However, the tile on shower floor is an approved non-skid surface.  We are a guest tourist house, licensed like a hotel.   We do provide bottled water for each guest and point out the thermostat on the wall so if it’s chilly the guests are able to turn on the heat.  Our staff may have forgotten the tissue, but silverware, cups, plates and paper towels are provided and stocked in the kitchen. Cellular service in the city of Mineral Point is not very good if you have any service provider other than Verizon and US Cellular.  There is a landline available on both the first and second floor.  Regarding the wi-fi, we have the strongest possible service provided in this area.  Internet service can have glitches in these rural areas and we just have to make do.With regard to the comment on the Gray Dog Deli’s offering dinner, since we have opened in 2011 we have never been open for Tuesday night dinner.   I have checked our website, Safari and Google and I am unable to find any reference to offering dinner on Tuesday nights.  Knocking on a door at 5am there’s there is always a chance you will not be heard.  At any time during her stay, had she called either Ted or I, we would have bent over backwards to resolve her concerns.  I understand Ms Davis is looking to have her bill adjusted.  We are declining reimbursement for the following reasons:1. We declined a 4-day booking based on this reservation2. We didn’t put the room charge through for XXX days while we waited to hear from her (see the email pasted below)3. Our website clearly states cancellations must be made via the telephone.  There was opportunity for her to talk to me (or the general manager) in person, anytime during restaurant hours 7:30am-4pm 7 days a week.  Attached email.Hi, I hope everything is ok, your reservation was for the 12th and 13th , you stated in (Special Needs) upon reserving. “This is for two nights please, 12 July and 13 July, for my husband and I.
