25th Street Auto Sales Reviews (%countItem)

I went to 25th street auto to look at automobiles for sale and seen a 2002 *** for sale for $1,800. The salesman, Ralph told me I can put down $100 to hold it. I sat down at his secretary's desk and at first was hesitant to put the money down. She told me that it's okay, if I change my mind the money is refundable. So I then felt that it was okay to put the deposit down on the car because she assured me it is fully refundable. Then about a week later, I told them on the phone that I decided on another car and Ralph the salesman was angry and said that he already inspected the car. I went by the lot to talk to them and I asked for my $100 back. Ralph said that it's to bad because he inspected the car and can't give it back. I told him that he didn't say I won't get it back if they inspect it, that he didn't state that to me. Ralph then said he would speak to the owner and call me back. I made sure he had my number. He never called me back and he refused to refund me refundable $100 deposit.

To whom it concerns my name is *** and I purchased a car from 25th auto sales the day I purchased this car The car had a problem starting driving off of the lot because they put a tracking device in the vehicle and it’s not working properly whit the car 2009 Toyota Camry they call their mechanic The man who installed this device in the car their mechanic said he fix not once not twice more than three times I had to bring this vehicle back for the same problem the bank who give me the loan which is New York City funding the credit to get this car they told the dealer to take the device out of the car and they’re still refusing to do that I cannot work with this vehicle in this condition because when I need it to start it cannot start it I cannot work with it like this its inconvenient me And cost me to lose money and time I will appreciate it if somebody could contact me in regards of this matter because I need to get this resolved soon as Possible imy time is very valuable and I think that they do not respect that at all me conducting my personal business

25th Street Auto Sales Response • Apr 03, 2018

To Whom It May Concern,We here at 25th Street Auto Sales have received the Revdex.com request for response on the matter regarding ***. As mentioned in the letter, there are always two sides to every story. We attempted to help *** multiple times but he continued to be disrespectful to our employees here at 25th Street Auto Sales. We offered to take the car the mechanic to have the payment reminder system removed from his car but he refused and started yelling at our driver.

The last time he was here, police were called to the scene because *** threatened the life of the owner and all of the employees here at 25th Street Auto Sales To our understanding *** removed the device from the vehicle himself. We find it ludicrous that he wants us to reimburse his for his time. We will not be providing any further support to *** regarding this matter.

Sincerely,25th Street Auto Sales

I purchased a car from 25th Street Auto in October 2017. Before making the purchase I called the dealership 3 times and visited twice. Each time I spoke with a gentleman named Ralph. On all these occasions I explained to him what I was looking for and wanted to get a price for not only the vehicle, but also a warranty. The warranty offers they had were by Veterans Auto warranty and there were 3 levels to the warranty. On my first visit he gave me a brochure to look over. On every occasion I specifically told him I wanted the second level to the warranty. The final phone call I made was to confirm the amount of cash I needed to bring to get the car and the warranty. At that time he put me on hold to confirm the exact price of the warranty since I was traveling such a far distance. Then when I got there and were closing the deal I noticed that the warranty was not correct and I stated to Ralph and the office girl exactly what level of the warranty I was requesting. They apologized and made the correction. I paid them and left to go get title work done. Not even a month later the car I purchased had engine lights on and other problems with the car. I took it to a local car dealership to have it worked on and gave them my warranty paperwork. I received a phone call from the dealership stating that I only had a powertrain warranty. I then called the warranty company myself and was told that the paperwork submitted by their representative stated that was what Ralph told them to set up. I have been calling 25th street auto for almost 2 months to try and figure out how they made the mistake and to have them correct the problem. They now want to charge me more money to get a better warranty, BUT the warranty company said they would not give me that coverage since there has already been a problem. I know they stole my money and just hoped that I would give up at this point. Each time I call they tell me they will call me back and never do. They tell me they will have the owner call me and they never have.
