In February 2019 I special ordered a queen size star quilt with personalized colors and embroidery for the college graduation of my daughter in June 2019. I paid a $300.00 down payment through *** guest services and provided specific colors and embroidery information to the company. The company failed to provide a proof of the work before shipping to make sure everything was as specifically ordered as requested. Instead I received an email informing me the quilt was almost done and being shipped out the following week without my proofing it. I live out of state from where the graduation was taking place so I had the quilt shipped to a family member who lives in the area. I didn't open the quilt until arriving for the graduation and found the there was a mistake in embroidery, my daughter's name was misspelled. I called the company to inform them of their error and was asked to see if I could find someone to "fix" it. I contacted 2 different places and neither would attempt as it is embroidered on satin. A star quilt, in our culture, is given as a symbol of a great accomplishment and we chose this company specifically because the owner is allegedly a Native American business owner, and I felt he would take great care in fulfilling this very important order however, it was an embarrassment as we could not display the quilt as planned nor take pictures of the embroidery. The company offered to let me keep the quilt for what I paid and I declined. The company had me ship it back and ask that I pay to ship, which I did. Their resolution was to allegedly reproduce the quilt because they could not "fix" the embroidery on satin either. After numerous attempts to contact the business and given numerous excuses, over the last 7 months requesting an update to my order, I have not received the quilt and the company refuses to respond. I have now sent another email in January 2020 requesting a refund of my down payment and shipping costs and have received neither a refund nor a response.
