A1 Express Locksmith Reviews (%countItem)

I was locked out of my condo on Friday the 14th. I was able to use a neighbor's phone since I didn't have my phone and I called my mom who then must have Googled locksmiths and contacted Locksmith Pros. This was around 8am or so. The locksmith showed up around 9am approximately and didn't give me any information on pricing or the process he was going to use to open the door to my unit. He started putting some balloon things in the door and took out another piece of equipment to what looked like to me would be to jimmy the door open. I then asked him aren't you going to pick the lock and he said it would take too long to pick the lock. However, he didn't say the lock wasn't pickable nor did he say how long it would take to pick the lock. So he starts to jimmy the door open and I asked if that would cause damage and he said something like it shouldn't or I hope not. He gets the door open and I see that there's damage. I said oh no I rent this place what am I going to tell my landlord. He said you can tell him maybe someone tried to break in. He then says the cost is $285 which I was shocked by but I thought maybe that's normal. I have never had a locksmith before so I had no idea on pricing (I didn't know until after the fact that my mom had asked how much this would be when she made her initial call and was told that the fee starts at $35). He is processing my credit card and then says we appreciate tips. Again I was taken aback but I felt stuck so I gave him a $5.

I called Locksmith Pros after the locksmith left because I was so upset about the damage to my door, the cavalier attitude of the locksmith, the cost of the service considering that there was damage as well as the fact that the locksmith had the nerve to ask for a tip!! I spoke with a woman who said she was a supervisor but I didn't get her name. She also couldn't give me a clear understanding of why I was charged $285 nor how we could remedy the situation regarding my damaged door. She was unfortunately less than helpful.

I took pictures of the door damage and needless to say I am extremely upset. I called the company Friday after the locksmith left, Saturday morning and spoke with ***, Sunday and spoke with *** and then Monday and spoke again with ***. I was told on Saturday by *** to email the pictures to the company and someone would get back to me on Monday with an answer. I wound up calling Monday because I was hoping for a call back first thing in the morning and since that didn't happen I called and I believe it was *** who told me that it was decided by the supervisor that nothing would be done regarding my complaint. I then told him I wanted to talk to the supervisor and she said the same thing as ***, that nothing could be done. Her name is supposedly ***.

The company's website claims it has unbeatable prices and 100% satisfaction guaranteed. So far, neither is true. When I had called on Saturday morning and spoke to ***, I explained to him what happened and how dissatisfied I was with the services I received. I asked if the locksmith put into the system yet the breakdown of the cost of my service and he said he doesn't have access to that. He told me I shouldn't have paid the $285 if I didn't agree with the price and should have called the company prior to paying but that's all nice and good after the fact but I didn't call and that's what we have to deal with. Many times people pay for services they are unhappy with and deal with how to rectify the situation afterwards.

This company's practices are completely unethical if not illegal. They have false advertising on their web site and technicians who charge whatever price they want and apparently the company doesn't want to take any responsibility for their technicians.

Refund I had paid for the services with my bank card and noticed the charges were for a different company called On the Go Locksmith. I contacted that company and they claim that this tech freelances and sometimes does work for their company but that the tech inadvertently ran my card as a job through On the Go but that it wasn't their job. I was able to negotiate with On the Go to get some of my money back but not all of it. I would like the rest of my money refunded.

Hello. I would like to file a complaint against "Locksmith Pros" a company supposedly located in Pasadena CA. On June 7 2017 my family was locked out of our apartment. We called "Locksmith Pros" at XXX-XXX-XXXX and a technician was sent. The tech Sam arrived and claimed he was unable to pick the lock the traditional way the 120 option and would have to drill the lock he said merely that it would be "more expensive" but not indicating price. After drilling the lock and making it unusable he said it would be 265 and "tried" to run a credit card. It would not run and we did not have that much cash. We asked to be billed but he would not issue a bill to us. So he followed my wife to the bank and she gave him 265 and he had then raised the price to 330 "it should have been 390 with tax" but he wouldn't charge us tax...red flag. He knows our address and had access to our house keys and my wife had no choice but to give the extra money to him. A few days later I called the "Locksmith Pros" office to find out what the issue was why the price changed why Sam could not pick the lock for the 120 way Alex the first rep I spoke to said that these locks are usually 120 and how the difference could be made up. They are a disfunctional organization where I've called 5 times and the managers didn't know who each other are will not give me addresses to use in a Revdex.com filing address listed on complaint is "corporate office" in Dallas though they would not transfer my call there did not call me back after promising to get Sam's side of the story would not explain how a "pro" locksmith could not crack a 15 lock. We had another locksmith in the building for another issue and asked his opinion. He chuckled and said "that's an easy one"I would merely like the difference of 330 to 120 made up 210 to be refunded from the company. Thank you. ***
