I have been in business myself for thirty years I have never heard of anybody puting over 1,000 miles a month on a second car , this gentleman must do  alot of driving . As I stated in my last response the vehicle is well out of warrenty, not a thousand not two thousand , not a month or two. In the thirty years ,I have only had a couple of complaints, that in itself tells you the quality and integrity of my work . you will not find anybody who will question the quality of my work. This gentleman is is saying some very bad things about me questioning the quality of my work and the fact that he is acting like I am somekind of salesman , gaining your trust , here is how it goes down , they call we give them a  price over the phone without seeing the vehicle ( almost unheard of ) they hear the price and ask is that plus labor we say no that is everything except tax, and at half price they schedule it. the only other question they may ask is does it have a warrenty . it is very disheartening to put your heart and soul and your life into something a little chunk of me goes into every one of those [redacted] piece of st transmissions. This gentleman obviously wants something for free and he is not worried about the quality or integrity of my work or he would not had left the vehicle with me. He knows he is not going to get it fixed for $1500.00 nor will he get it here. He has insulted me , my wife and my brother we are a family owned business with all the qualities he states we don't have. [redacted] needs to come get his immediately we open 8 am monday november *, 2015. Thank you for your concern .

The fact that I was told my transmission would last it's  lifetime  and stating the confidence in your work but I'm back here again Is dissatisfying . I drove truck in a regular manner no commercial use or excessive use to vehicle in fact it's my 2nd car so I don't use that often and still transmission is going bad. I feel like that price is really unfair regardless of what u choose to charge below industry prices, I was told certain things and wish for u to stand by them. If you cannot stand by your words then you really shouldn't mislead customers because we spend our hard earned money based on the trust and confidence in your words to not just do good work but also do the right thing by people. Please be more reasonable in this matter and look at it from my point of view, if you were to have some work done and then something goes wrong and having to pay for the same issue that was supposed to be corrected.

Obviously the owner of Acdemy Transmission is being very vulgar and he talks a lot about integrity and pride but that's not the case. Want my car fixed and my transmission to last the rest of the life of my car like the owner Mel promised now there's an issue with it all the talk of pride and integrity flies out the window. Very easy to talk the talk but actions are what define us. I never insulted Mel or his family in any kind of way if any one is insulted I am because the lack of effort on this business owner after I was told such promises.I don't want anything for free I just want what was told to me about quality work and integrity I make a complaint about being charge again for the same problem and Mel wants to brush his hands with me and doesn't want to service me anymore, what does that tell you about a person and there quality work! I'll tell you it's a scam it's all talk, beware of Acdemy Trasmissions not good at all .

Review: Had transmission rebuilt by Acdemy Transmission paid 2500 dollars for repair was told transmission would last the rest of life of the vehicle and a year later my transmission is acting up again. Now I'm being asked to pay an additional 1500, dollars to repair again when I was told by the owner Mel that it was good for life of car. Was also told that if any problems came up they would work with me to solve them and now that's not the case. I feel like this business is only about getting your money. Anything after tha fact they don't care, they sale you and gain your trust but be careful and shop around first I don't have any faith or trust in Acdemy Transmission any more.

to whom it may concern , All of our transmissions come with a 12 month / 12 thousand mile warrenty . [redacted] transmission was rebuilt on 1-**-14 the miles on then were 108,629 approximatly oct [redacted] 2015 he brought the vehicle back stating something is wrong . the vehicle now has 136,853 miles , with that being said the the car is approx 9 months and 11,717 miles out of warrenty. [redacted] did not pay $2500.00 he paid $2200.00 plus tax .yes when people ask me how long the transmission (should) last I say it (should) last the rest of the life of the vehicle . of course this depends on climate and use. of course if it is being used commercially or misusing it in someway of course it (could ) shorten the life of the transmission . We explained this to [redacted] that we would have to take it apart to see what had happened and that if it did need to be completely rebuilt again that we would charge him $1500.00 and give him the same 12 month / 12,000 mile warrenty . [redacted] said ok and has left the vehicle with us , obviously we are not touching this vehicle until we hear back from you . We thought that was very reasonable since the vehicle has 28,233 miles on it since we rebuilt it and the fact that our transmissions are half the price of everbody elses to begin with . We are sorry to see him back .
