Tell us why hereThis is a reply to the Revdex.com (Complaint ID: [redacted] ) we received todayThis patient was consulted on June **, 2017, and had surgery scheduled for August **, Her payment of $1,on July **, 2017, and $1,on July **, 2017, was payment in fullWhen she learned of her pregnancy on August *, 2017, she requested a refund and the six-week time allotment was due on September **, In good faith, we provided a partial refund of $on September **, 2017, with of course the promise to give her the remaining balance of the refund as soon as possibleOrdinarily, a cancellation of surgery only days prior to the surgical date represents a financial challenge to our business since the surgical slot cannot be filled and therefore refunds are not made when a two week prior to surgery cancellation occursOf course, in this case, given the pregnancy, we want to do all we can to fulfill this patient’s needsBecause of the affirmation financial burden, it represents our small business could only manage yesterday’s refund amount but the rest, of course, it's forthcomingIt should be noted that our sincere good faith partial refund was given to this patient before she decided to nevertheless lodge her complaint

Allow me to respond to the above-referenced complaintAs you will see there is no merit to it what so ever in fact, given the fact that every attempt was made to protect this patient and help her avoid unnecessary intra-operative discomfort that would create unnecessary distress for her and risk a sub optimal treatment, one could see this complaint as being inappropriately mean spiritedI saw this patient in consultation on She left a deposit towards her surgery on On my Nurse became aware of this patients twice a day use of a medication she referred to in her complaint that according to WebMD “works in the brain to change how your body fills and responds to pain”When we reported this information to the patient on telling her that the key medication we use to control pain is, in spite of what she said in complaint, is in fact in the exact same medication category as the one she takes every da y, we advised her based on our experience in thousands of cases, that she would very likely not be responsive enough to this medication that we use and would, therefore, risk having a potentially intolerable procedure on her part which could likely undermine the thoroughness of the procedure and its intended resultsWe therefore in her better interest recommended that she have this procedure done with an anesthesiologist administering intravenous medications that would address these issues in her best interestWhen this patient refused this reasonable and important alternative on she requested on that same date on the refund of her depositHer entire deposit was refunded to her on Any reading of my response will completely show that everything was done to protect this patient’s best interest and that the refund of her deposit was done in the timeliest mannerIt is unfortunate that in our profession and many others, responsible, dedicated, pr ofessional efforts are at times met with mean spiritedness which is clearly uncalled forWe wish this patient good health and God’s speed

Revdex.com:They have refunded my deposit only after having filed the complaint with the Revdex.com. Prior to filing this complaint they told me I wasn't entitled to a refund and began ignoring my emails. I appreciate all the Revdex.com has done to keep people from being taken advantage of. 
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory, as they have reimbursed me for my deposit. There is no longer a need for me to respond to the incorrect comments they made in their defense as the matter has been resolved financially. I did not expect they would publicly admit to making any other mistakes.

In good faith, we provided a partial refund of $500.00 on September **, 2017, with of course the promise to give her the remaining balance of the refund as soon as possible. Ordinarily, a cancellation of surgery only 14 days prior to the surgical date represents a financial challenge to our business since the surgical slot cannot be filled and therefore refunds are not made when a two week prior to surgery cancellation occurs. Of course, in this case, given the pregnancy, we want to do all we can to fulfill this patient’s needs. Because of the affirmation financial burden, it represents our small business could only manage yesterday’s refund amount but the rest, of course, it's forthcoming.
