Shady business! Avoid them! On July 6, 2020, the Aerus/Torrance salesman (initials GCW) tried to rip off a 92 year old, nearly-blind widow, by estimating a repair to her 10-year old canister vacuum cleaner at $655. Or in lieu of a repair, he offered a $700 trade-in of that vacuum for a new replacement (costing $2200)!

In other words, a replacement canister vacuum would cost her $1500 out-of-pocket. This same vacuum lists - new - for $800 on the internet! (I have that "Estimate of Repair Service" and will be happy to submit it as proof of this person's dishonest business practices.)
