The response from ACNM states that I was contacted by the business and provided my bill information, and that I was informed that Dr.M [redacted] provided "chiropractic related services," however this is incorrectI contacted the business myself by phone and in person requesting my itemized bill to understand what my charges were and they continued to refuse to mail it, provide it over the phone or in person, and refused to allow me to speak with a manager when I went into the office to try and understand what my bill was forI was charged for a new office visit when I had gone in for an adjustment and not? a new issueDrM [redacted] and ACNM refused to talk with me about this or adjust itThey billed me for osteopathic manipulation services when I was going in for chiropractic services and when I attempted to address this with them, they stated that Dr.M [redacted] could not bill for chiropractic services because he was not technically licensed to provide them, however he was providing themIn their response to my complaint to the AG and Revdex.com, they state they he was never providing these services and did not state he could, which is incorrectI directly asked if he could provide these services for me and he stated he could, and I began scheduling adjustments with himThey continue to state "we bill insurance as a courtesy" however the primary issue is that the doctor was not only providing services he could not legally provide, the business was billing both me and my insurance incorrectlyThis issue is bigger than insurance billingWhen I could not resolve this issue with ACNM directly, I submitted a complaint to the Alaska AG, and in retaliation ACNM sent the bill that they never sent to me, to collectionsAs stated before, I was also harassed via facebook by Dr.Ashley M [redacted] which is both unprofessional and unethicalOnce my bill went to collections, I at that time requested through the collections agency a copy of my itemized bill and had no choice by to pay? it to avoid this affecting my creditSince the response to the Alaska AG by ACNM went against what I stated, the AG did nothing further with the complaint I submitted? ?

Whom It May Concern: This letter is in response to the above mentioned complaint *** *** *** has been a patient of DrM**’s since May 2015. She is aware that DrM** is a naturopathic doctor that provides services similar to a chiropractor. Alaska Center for Natural Medicine bills insurance as a courtesy but does not have an agreement with any insurance company. ***’s insurance has paid for many of her visits with DrMay, however her last two visits were denied by her insurance company saying her benefits for the year have been maxed. The billing office cannot change medical coding unless it was incorrectly billed. All our billing comes from the providers chart notes from the visit. After discussing this case with DrM** we found that there was no error in the original billing. *** was contacted over the phone at least twice by the billing office. Once on July 15, and once on September 15, 2016.
