On 05/09/2015 we had a set appointment from Mrs. [redacted] to clean her carpet. We noticed that the carpet needed to be stretched. We gave her a free estimate first which was $50. She said she would have to speak to husband and let us know by the...

time we were done with the cleaning. She than said it was OK and do it. We explained to Mrs. [redacted] that we normally get $40 and up for stretching, depending on how much of the room needs to stretched. When the whole room needs done its at least $100+. Since she only need half of room we only charged $50. So, we did the work and she was pleased. About and hour later she called us back and said that there was one area that wasn't tightened done. So we came back the same day an hour later and re-tightened it. She stated that she was happy with the work. At that time her husband was also there. He said NOTHING to us or about the work while we where there. About another hour after leaving the 2nd time, we received another phone call from Mr. [redacted], saying he wasn't happy and felt as if he was over charged and still needs more stretching! We told him we could come back and take another look the following day at a time good for them. He than said NO THANK YOU and hung up! At no time did they ever complain about the carpet cleaning or we would have re done it the 2nd time we came out. There fore there is no need for a partial refund because we offered to come back a 3rd time and he said no. Thank you for you time and consideration!

As stated before they did offer to come back TWO days later but when I tried to say come back that day before I put my furniture back they told me no. So when I stated that I didn't want to leave displaced they said that they would stretch with it all in place which I know you can't do because the carpet doesn't move like it should as well as you can't see the wrinkles. I also know that when you have wall to wall carpet that you can't just stretch one section the whole carpet needs stretched. They stated that I was there and said nothing was because the guy in charge went out one door while I came in another, and yes I saw the assistant working but even he left before I was able to inspect the work(he was only there about 10 minutes the 2nd time). Also when my wife pushed for a legit receipt she was told no we don't do that, and just scratched something on there flyer and said that will have to do! I cannot understand what was so hard to give a receipt as well ad not having a way to pay by card or send and invoice. As far as them coming back a third time, when I was on the phone with a guy named [redacted] who said he was the person in charge; he was extremely rude and uncooperative with me so NO I do not trust them to come back to my house with his attitude and shoddy work. From the attitude I got from the business it is plain to me that they do not care to have satisfied customers (since he lied and said he has never had a complaint but yet I found 5 on the Revdex.com site alone) I think the result will we live and learn that me and my wife got ripped off from a scam artist.

As stated earlier we offered to come back and take care of any problems they might have had and we gave his wife a free est. before we did the job, she okay it. He's obviously upset with his wife for getting it done and doesn't want to spend the money. His wife did not get ripped off by us and we are not scam artists. We did have 5 complaints in 25 years but where all resolved. There fore there is nothing else we can do and will no longer contact him or her in the future.
