I took in the [redacted] on trade as an as is trade, but prior to taking it in on trade I had the unit running, to make sure there were no obvious issues, and there were none. The previous owner had changed the oil and filter prior to...

trading it in, and this was easy to see when I originally checked the oil. Yes [redacted] did purchase this [redacted] from me on [redacted] as an as is traded unit. I had told [redacted] from day 1 that If anything goes wrong with the unit that I will do what I can to help her out by giving her a break on parts and labour if the need ever arises. From the date of sale until [redacted] we were contacted by the[redacted] two different times informing us that the unit was burning oil. The first time it was brought in it actually had to much oil and my mechanic actually had to drain some oil out to put it at the correct level my mechanic told me that they had too much oil in it and that it would was blowing out through the crankcase vent and this is the issue that they had the first time it was brought in. The second time it was brought in with same complaint loosing oil this time my mechanic changed the oil, did a compression test results showed 125PSI, and took it for a 35km run, came back and checked oil, oil level was as it should be and there were no issues to be found. First time it was brought in we didn't charge anything, second time if memory serves me correctly I believe I charged her just for the oil. I never heard anymore from the [redacted] until much later after they had the unit to the [redacted] dealer, I don't know what issue the unit had between the last time it was at my dealership until it was at the [redacted] dealership. If there was an issue with there unit,I wish that they would have gotten us a quote from [redacted] to what was wrong with there unit so as I could have saved them some money. I have a very reliable mechanic and he informed me that the work they had done at the [redacted] dealer would have cost them less than half the price they were charged.

No I don't accept the response because he didn't include that I informed him that I was working night shift and was having a hard time getting in to see him .the only time I could see him is on my days off .when I did see him I brought pictures off the dipstick showing that there was no oil in the machine that was only a week after he is saying that he changed the oil .I have been operating atv for a long time so I no how to read a dipstick also I per[redacted]ally don't think he chained the oil because the oil was still black when I added the oil I eaven call [redacted] and asked what type off oil do the machine needed he told me the only oil that could go in the side by side was the oil they sell and it is not recommended to put any other oil in the machine .I asked the man at articat did [redacted] get the oil at his dealership he said no he didn't.so I don't think [redacted] is tellin to whole storey here .he also fail to mention the conversation we had about other problems about the machine that he said he would fix but didn't eaven try to do .he said he could fix the other problems only if my [redacted] would pay labour cost and I said to [redacted] u need to do what's right for my [redacted] she just payed you [redacted] for the prowler I would like to add that the prowler only cost [redacted] new and the machine is 6 years old I eaven call other dealers and ask what is the trade in value would be and the quotes they gave to me were from [redacted] to about [redacted] .hebsaid that he would hell so I gave him the benefit of doubt and gave it a couple off weeks with no response .that went on for a while until I went in to see him about the I eaven asked him what could he do about the smell off oil and the black smoke that was coming out off the machine he responded to that there was nothing he could do because

In reponse Theres not much more I can add to dealership comments other than everything as previously stated is accurate to our records. The oil was changed on [redacted] as per work order[redacted] and it was changed with [redacted] ATV/UTV approved 10W40 oil. He states that the UTV was only valued at [redacted] new if googled he would see that the base MSRP price in US dollars started at [redacted] plus tax, would be more in Canadian dollars as price does not reflect change in currency, shipping and handeling or PDI ( pre delivery Intallation ). Also the Blue book value of this bike at time of sale was [redacted] plus tax not includind accessories that came with the bike, this can also be looked up by Googling [redacted].As I had mentioned to [redacted] when I delivered the bike that I will do what I can to help her out in the way of parts and labour if she ever has an issue with the unit, this has not changed. nce again both times that this bike was brought into our garage from the purchase date there were no issues to be found with this bike burning oil. We don't know what went on with the unit from Aug 24th until it was looked at by the [redacted] dealer, but when it left here on [redacted] the Unit had no engine issues.

Well that's a is not true because a week after having the unit u were contacted and was told to u about the oil problem .and my next door neigbour checked the oil found that it was low on oil he had to add oil to it that is when all the issues started with it I also had my [redacted] drive the unit in front off me and I could smell oil burning .we also had the bike dropped off to u 4ore 5 times I have proof off that because my next door [redacted] dropped it off for me because I was working at the time he dropped it off to you and regard to the price I know the price the unit was sold for and where the unit came from when you took it in on a trade because when it was sold new it was sold At a reduced price u also failed to answer the question do you have the proper tools to have a leak down test the answer you gave me was no that is why the unit was taken to articat because you didn't have the proper testing tools and you didn't eaven offer to have it tested at another garage because I asked you what were you going to do for my [redacted] and you said you couldn't do anything because you didn't have the tools.Do you remember my words that I said to you [redacted] and I quote I said to you,you need to do what is right and be fair to my [redacted] because I think that u done my [redacted] wrong on this deal and you said you will do what you can but like the other times you didn't have the curiosity to call her back .the only time we talked to you is when I dropped in to your store .like I said I did all the talking to you about the problems were having with the unit because my [redacted] didn't understand what was going on with unit and you said it was brought down a couple off times well [redacted] that's a lie you know that I spoke to you several times about the problem eather by phone ore by stopping in to chat with you .[redacted] you need to be a man and step up [redacted] do what is right like I said to you before.
