Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: A quarter inch piece of glass did not cause this damageThere was not a dent before the window was changedputting a 1/inch in my door while replacing the window should not of happened.Sincerely, [redacted]

I agree that there was not an adequate job done on the cleanup and apologize for the inconvenience but I also have to say that the external moldings are not something we change or remove and are likely part of the original incidentI will personally go to the customer location to take a look and
see what, if anything further can be done under the scope of work provided
I would like to know what caused the window to be broken?
My intention is to follow up with a phone call as well

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me except for the following response from the business " external moldings are not something we change or remove and are likely part of the original incident." The window was broken in the center out by a police officer and the external molding were not messed with on this partMy question is how is the window put in if the external window moldings (around the window) are not touched?

It is unfortunate when additional damages apply to an accident such as thisBroken glass inside the door and the placement of it occur when the window breaks apart and falls into the doorFurther it generally falls outside of the door and causes paint scrapes and scratchesThese issues
are not the responsibility of the repair shop and are part of the accidentThis is very common? in the collision repair industry where additional damages are generally sent to adjusters as supplements to the original estimate
From State Farm website: "If at any time, you or your repairer, discovers additional damage, please contact your claim handler for additional consideration."
