From: Date: Wed, Aug 26, 2015 at 11:38 AMSubject: Re: [redacted] Complaint ([redacted])To: [redacted] <[redacted]@myRevdex.com.org>Thank you [redacted]. I'm not sure what happened but this is my first time seeing this email.Regarding the complaint of [redacted] we have tried to work with him in...

solving this issue. We are actually "tired" of going back and forward with this issue with no success.Since the beginning, Eddie said that the discolorations are not something easy to "diagnose" the cause. Honestly, we can't say why the stains occurred. There are many possible reasons and [redacted] himself, by contacting other people and searching online, came up with many reasons of "why"  the stains occurred.Of course, now he is making us liable because we were the last people who worked there. He is no accepting the claim that old stones+ old cement + new cement + the environment + acid wash + other natural elements could be the recipe or the reason for the stains.Eddie used the old stones [redacted] had, which had old cement on them (we cleaned the excess of the old cement but it is almost impossible to clean it all). To reinstall them, he used sand and Portland cement , not type "S" like [redacted] stated.  Eddie did the patio with a strong mixture, just like he has done for many years that he has worked in  this trade. He has re-used stones on previous jobs and this is the first time a customer complains. The stones on [redacted]'s  patio are still on place and in perfect condition (before they were all loose, and this was the reason [redacted] called us). We stand behind  our workmanship and already said to him that he can call us anytime if he gets a loose stone. We will fix it for free.Although  we believe the discolorations are not related to our scope of work we are willing to help [redacted] withthis issue. During the site meetings [redacted] mentioned to [redacted] options to fix the problem and asked him what he wants from us.Here are our options to fix the problem:1) Opening the joints and refilling them.2) Installing new stones (he needs to provide new stones). We will not buy buy new stones.3) Refund the $2,000.00 received, upon removal of claims/reviews he has placed.Honestly, we are not comfortable to continue to deal with this situation.I am afraid that if we agree to option 1 and keep the existing stones the same problem could occur and we will be liable again. Who knows? For that reason, we will need a disclaimer that we will not be responsible if the same discolorations occurs after the repair is done.We definitely want to close this claim and would like that [redacted] removes the claim/reviews about this case.Sincerely.Janieli A[redacted]ALL'S CONTRACTING INC.###-###-####
