Thank you for contacting us on this important matter and giving us a chance to clarify what the situation isFirst it is clear in our contract that any damage caused by water leaking or overflowing is not covered by our warranty or any foundation company's warranty for that matterThis is an standard policy in the foundation industryAfter looking over this situation we went above our duty and warranty but we required for Mrs Ugues to repaired the plumbing and overflowing by installing a french drain so the problem could be fixed as well as the crawling space to be absolutely and completely dry.This conversation took place on September On February 6th MrsUgues husband contacted us to let us know that the plumbing and leaking problems had been fixed and the crawling space was totally dryHe then suggested to send our team after February 12th 2018, but he did not mention any specific date of completionwe haven't heard from them sincewe also sent a plumber to inspect and analyze the plumbing, overflowing and drainageHe suggested the same thing we didTo install a french drain and leaking repairthe suggestions were ignored and she decided by her neighbor opinion to change the grading.We're very concerned about Mrs [redacted] impression of our company and we're sorry that she feels that we've been ignoring her, however we do not believe this was the best channel of communication with usKeeping in mind that by contract we had never been obligated to honor the warranty Especially after our suggestions and requirements were ignored by the customerAgain even though the warranty is void, we are willing to keep communication to the proper channel which is direct communication between both parties and tried to resolve this matter.Thank you

I am rejecting this response becauseI did not ignore his suggestions; his plumber did agree with me at first; Two other plumbers came over a few times but never saw a leak; we have repeatedly attempted to reach [redacted] and have proof on our phone.When [redacted] first told me I needed a French drainage, I spent a lot of time looking for alternatives because of the cost. Suggestions from other professional plumbers disagreed. We eventually found a puddle of standing water from an external source and have since dried it. I placed gutters and will improve grading once the job is completed to prevent future issues. The inspection upon my home purchase read sufficient drainage and to monitor. As for communication, since June 2017, I have gotten the run around. Since this is expected from this industry, I was patient. [redacted] and I had a long heart to heart conversation and I believed he would do the work. He sympathized with me and even later said "you're cracks are too severe, we're going to fix it. Give me 5 days to bring you options and an engineer report. I'll bring a fan to dry the crawl space for now." And he's repeatedly said there are one or two projects in front of me. I asked my husband to take over the calls because I thought man to man would make a difference. Now [redacted] is doing the same thing to him and not returning calls, telling him he'll call in 30 minutes, he's out of country...All I want is to fix the foundation. Meanwhile, my hundreds of dollars are going into repairing the huge cracks. I bought this house and had 2 inspections and an engineer review it and I made sure to get the foundation warranty. All I want is to put it to use. I did my job, I wish he would do his.
