This company along with their counterpart [redacted] are the sleaziest of sleazy and based off prior complaints they know how to beat the Revdex.com I have the same problems of nothing but lies for days now and unfortunately no proof except bottom line they missed the pickup I have someone missing work waiting for them days now They tell you they will call you back and don't, they don't answer the phones most times they give different names every time you speak with them They give operating hours and the list goes on
Worst experience we ever had! Please - read this before you do it! Cost came out to be double + of what was quoted This is a broker which does nothing more than serve as a non-value added middle man that collects money We were then hooked up with Apex movers which had the worst customer service imaginable Our pick up and delivery dates were late We were lied to numerous times and in some cases our stuff just thrown in a box with no packing! When we complained they tried to turn it around on us We are the CUSTOMER! I do not know how either of these companies are still in business NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

I spoke with "[redacted]" from this company and he sounded very honest and genuine. He told me that they "are a family owned company" and how much his customers mean to them. He quoted me 1,300$ to move 3.5 bedrooms 600 miles. He "talked me through an online contract" where he "highlighted" the important parts so I "would be clear" and have "no confusion" about the contract. In particular he emphasized "anything we disassemble we will reassemble" and how my personal belongings were insured, directing my attention to parts of the contract that made them sound like an honest company. Furthermore, he told me that for "only 300$" I could reserve a truck and full service move. After booking the move, I was alarmed when I read some of the reviews about this company. I was also skeptical because [redacted] had sounded so genuine on the phone and he told me I could call or email him "anytime". I decided to call him back for reassurance. However, after he got my deposit I never heard from him again. I called him several times and emailed him but got no response. At that point I read the contract in more detail and realized that I didn't pay attention to the parts of the contract that stated that it could take "7-14 business days" for them to deliver our belongings. In addition, deposits are only refundable if there is a cancelation that they acknowledge 7 days before the date of the move. I could not get a hold on anyone in this company by phone or email to request that my deposit was refunded.
It was very naive of me not to read the entire contract and needless to say I did not get my 300$ deposit back. This was a learning experience for me and if you are considering hiring American Discount Movers I urge you to learn from my mistake. Please do not be fooled by how honest and genuine they sound on the phone. Read the entire contract before signing, and pay specific attention to how long it could take them to deliver your belongings. Also be aware of the "window" of time they allow themselves for picking up your possessions
