Once a year, American Protege sends emails to its subscribers list with a schedule of the upcoming competitions and concerts. Again, the emails distribution happens only once per year, in September, so the complaint statement on MANY emails is incorrect, unless the software used by us malfunctioned...

at some point, for what we would like to apologize.Another confusion on our side is, that all the requests to unsubscribe are automatically processed by the software and we also monitor it carefully. We can't check if [redacted] sent an Unsubscribe request (as she stated, 6 times), but we made sure her email address has been deleted from our list.We do have live people here, at American Protege, who are known by the music society for a very quick and prompt responses to all the emails and phone calls. Also, American Protege is not a "...competition quite suspect in itself..." as has been put by the compliant. This is an allegation and quite an offensive statement. There is no need to defend ourselves as American Protege is the LARGEST music competition (at least on the East Coast) with more than 30 recitals annually at Carnegie Hall, and with thousands of satisfied participants and winners. We have highest standards both in music and in customer service.
