Customer’s last statement (for period 8/26/- 9/25/13), which we provided to Revdex.com, reflected a balance due of $ The bank charged off this amount and closed the account in August We reported the delinquency to the credit bureaus prior to closing the account

Ms*** recently called our Customer Banking Center to inquire about a large deposit she mailed to the personal banker at our Kalihi branch. We requested personal information from Ms*** to properly identify her; however, Ms*** was very reluctant to provide such information over the
phone. Some of the kinds of information we request from customers include birthdate, mother’s maiden name, branch where account was opened, and account balance information. We regret that these inquiries upset Ms***; however, the bank must follow these verification procedures to avoid fraudulent activity from occurring on customers’ accounts. Ms*** has also called our Customer Banking Center and our Pearlridge and Kalihi branches several times to order replacement debit cards and requested to have them sent to Japan because she apparently lost her cards. We have accommodated Ms*** in this regard and, as a courtesy, waived one of the replacement card feesOur customer service representatives and branch personnel are trained to provide excellent service to our customers and would not use discriminatory or derogatory terms towards our customers

On Monday Oct 13th 2014  American Savings in store branches were open on a holiday... I called American Saving Customer Services  placed a stop payment for check 1137   amount of check was 1300.oo ,   American Saving customer services  stated to me that the stop payment was activated,  she didn't mentioned  to me that it will activate in one day...  Also the Salt Lake in store branch manager had informed me that if the check was cashed the bank's computer system wouldn't allow a stop payment to be activated....  According the U.S.  treasury dept....Controller office,  once a bank issued a recorded stop payment, the bank is liable for cashing any stop payment check....I'm  a very reasonable minded person.  If the bank had told me in the first place that they cannot issue a stop payment, then I will be okay with American Savings explanation.  But American Savings Customer Servicesinformed me that the stop payment was immediately activated and the $30.00 fee was charged to my account.OFFER TO A RESOLUTION:   If American Savings is willing to refund half of my money  back, I will be willing to take this offer and settle this matter.   Otherwise if American Savings is not willing to come to any settlement offer, then I will file a lawsuit in court asking the Judge to grant me full judgment  and in addition to add double or treble monetary damages.Sincerely,Arsenio Pelayo99-124 Kohomua St 15BAiea, Hawaii  96701tel  808  382-9495
