American Super Pages Reviews (41)

Review: My company, [redacted], LLC, received an invoice from American Super Pages for $488.89 for 2 years of a directory listing in boldface. This was never ordered by me, my partner, or anyone at my company, although ASP falsely states on the invoice that this was ordered by [redacted], LLC. We get 2-3 of these pfishing invoices per year and we know the scammers hope that a company is so large that someone will pass this to the accounts payable department and it will get paid. I do not want to call them, as from my experience with these types of scam artists, you just get in arguments with their reps and it all becomes pointless.Desired Settlement: I want a letter that states that this scam invoice has been cancelled/retracted and a promise from them that they will not contact my company again.

Review: Recently, our office received a bill in the amount of $486.80 for a 2-year BOLD LISTING in their book, under the category of "Physicians & Surgeons". However, no such request was made, nor was any product received, by anyone in our office. American Super Pages had no permission to print any listing on our behalf. Once the bill arrived, we made several attempts to call and fax our complaint, but were not able to speak to anyone - nor did we received any answers to our fax. Ultimately, since we did not request this service, we are not interested in paying the exorbitant fee that is associated with it. We respectfully ask the Revdex.com to assist us in getting this fee expunged. Thank you very kindly.Desired Settlement: We respectfully request that American Super Pages delete this bill from their record - since no requests from our office for their services were ever made. Thank you.

Regards,

Review: An invoice was sent to my business by American Super Pages in the amount of $488.80. I have never ordered nor agreed to any service by American Super Pages. I have seen other complaints similar to mine and it appears that these invoices are misleading and fraudulent. Recently one of our local news channels had a story regarding these types of scams and advised reporting them to the Revdex.com.org, ftc.gov, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and our state Attorney General's Office. I feel my business has been a victim of this scam and decided to report it.Desired Settlement: I would hope that this business (American Super Pages) would be investigated and make sure that they are not victimizing other businesses with scams or fraudulent activities.

Review: THIS COMPANY HAS SENT OUR OFFICE AN INVOICE FOR ADVERTISING SERVICE IN THE SUPER BUSINESS PAGES THAT WE HAVE NOT AUTHORIZED. NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS HAVE GONE UN ANSWERED BY THIS COMPANY.Desired Settlement: ADJUST UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES IN THE AMOUNT OF 504.81.

Regards,

Once again American Super Pages have sent me a bill for services they have not rendered! I reported them last year for sending us to a collection agency (which was probably in house)...The bill is not even our complete company name and they indicate the contact name is an employee we have not had for years. This company hopes someone will pay them the $486.80 because they think it is the yellow pages.

Review: Pretty much the same complaint as everyone else. Received an invoice in the mail stating that an amount was owed for services never ordered or agreed to. Phone calls are directed to a message center. They are never returned. Sent fax requesting correction to invoice and a copy to be sent to me for confirmation. No response. There is no indication on the invoice that this is a solicitation which I thought was mandatory when phishing for money.Desired Settlement: Confirmation in writing that this invoice has been erased and that our contact information has been permanently removed from their data. . No further contact from this company - EVER.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[There has been absolutely no communication from this company - no return phone call - no mailings - nothing. I have asked for something in writing and have not had any reply at all.]

Regards,

Review: This company sent me an invoice for a listing service that I have no knowledge of. The made-up invoice looks like a real invoice with account number, due date, and due amount. My office has never been in contact with American Super Pages. I don't know who they are and what kind of business they run. I believe this is a scam company trying to harm other small businesses. Revdex.com should look into this company and stop it from running this kind of scam.Desired Settlement: Stop calling or sending anything to my office.

Review: I received an invoice of $493.89 on 2/18/14 from American Super Pages stating I ordered advertisement from their company. I have never heard of this company and no one in my office has ever spoken with them. I have attempted to make contact with the toll free # on the invoice sent and have consistently been directed to a voice mail to which none responds. We have had no business transactions with this company and do not ever wish to.Desired Settlement: We would like our fraudulent bill abolished.

Marketing Representative

My business started receiving statements from this company recently. This is not a vendor we use. Have tried to contact the business several times but only goes to an answering machine, and we never receive a call back. This in my humble opinion is a SCAM!!!!!

Review: I received an invoice in the mail from this company asking for money that they say I owe them. I have never heard of this company, and I surely never authorized their services. I have tried to call them numerous times, but it seems that they don't have anybody to answer their phones. I left a message on their voicemail, but have not received a response from them.

It seems that this is likely a ploy by this company to get potential customers calling them, but this statement does not inform the receiver that it is an advertisement.Desired Settlement: This company needs to state on these mailers that "This is not a Bill, just an advertisement."

Review: We have received two statements from the American Super Pages in the past two months totaling $488.83. I have sent numerous faxes stating we have never ordered their services, nor are we listed on their site, they have some incorrect information about our address and I have not received a response regarding any of the faxes I have sent. I have also called, five times, and keep getting sent to an answering machine stating "Customer Service" and that no one is available to take my call. I have left messages with both my office numbers and personal telephone number to be contacted, I have not received a call.Desired Settlement: I would like American Super Pages to dissolve this statement and remove us from their site. I wish to no longer receive any information either by mail, fax, email or other means of communication from American Super Pages as well.

Review: received an invoice for a service I never signed up for. it does not say anywhere on this that it is a solicitation: it looks like a real invoice. It even says that they will charge me interest in payment not received by a due date. I tried calling the company but couldn't get anyone to answer. It directed me to a voicemail every time, but nothing within their phone system even mentioned the company name.Desired Settlement: I don't want this company (or any other company with a similar approach) to contact us again. They should also change their invoices to clearly state that it is for solicitation and not an actual invoice.

Response:

DEAR Revdex.com REPRESENrATIVE

Review: We are been billed for a yellow page ad that we never requested or placed. We have never been in contact with this company and they sent a bill saying that we owed $502.83 and asking us to send payment.

We called them and got no answer.

We feel this is a scam.Desired Settlement: Remove the charges and have someone look into this and see if it is a legitimate company

Review: On 8 DEC 24 I received in the mail a bill from American Super Pages for $487.86 allegedly for 2 years of listing with their yellow page like service starting on (?) 12 - 28 - 14.

I do not know who or what this company is.

I never contacted this company.

I was never contacted by this company prior to receiving this bill.

The bill they sent me is 100% Fraudulent.

I have called them at least 6 times, and was automatically diverted to their customer service department, where no one ever answered, I left messages and none were returned.

I also attempted to fax them but their fax number is fraudulent as well. Fax 888 812 7003. Phone 855 260 1660

I would like them to cancel the fraudulent bill they sent me and remove me from their data base and no longer contact me.

Again I have had no reply or response from them despite numerous attempts to contact them. Mr. [redacted] is listed as the only employee and is titled as an Account Executive.Desired Settlement: I would like them to CANCEL the faudlent bill they have sent me and remove me from their contact list... STOP contacting me.

Review: I received an invoice [redacted]) from this company stating I owed $495.87 for a "BOLD LISTING." I have never heard of this company nor have I ever purchased products/services from this company. The invoice was sent to my place of work and no one at my office has ever heard of the company nor placed an order with them. I have tried to reach the company at the toll free number listed only to be forwarded to an answering maching to leave a message...these messages are not returned.Desired Settlement: I would like this invoice to be cancelled out and the charges/invoice to be removed from any record associated with myself or my place of work. I would also like to be removed from any calling or mailing list associated with this business. Thank you.

Review: Our business received what looks like an invoice in the amount of $488.89 for services that were never performed or agreed to. It also shows an egregious interest rate charge. I am not sure how or why we received this showing we had a transaction from 2014 but have never had any other notification prior.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a written statement showing that there is no association of our business to American Super Pages and we would like to also never be contacted again for solicitations.

Response:

DEAR REPRESENTATIVETHIS FAX IS IN REGARDS TO THE COMPLAINT FILED AGAINST OUR BUSINESS, PLEASE NOTE THAT THEPURCHASE WAS MADE FROM LAST YEAR, AND THE SECOND YEAR IS OPTIONAL AND OF CHARGE, WHICHWE HAVE TAKEN THE LIBERTY TO CANCEL AND VOID, NOW TERMINATING THE ACCOUNTTHANK YOU[redacted]ACCOUNT MANAGER

Review: We received a phony invoice in the amount of $492.80 from this company. We have never contracted with them to create a web profile nor had any type of contact with them at all.Desired Settlement: I would like them to send a credit receipt showing a zero balance.

Our business received a bill from this company with a balance due of 494.87. We have never had any dealings with this company! They had my name listed as contact person, when I have NEVER spoken to anyone from this business. There isn't any person to talk to when you call, it just goes to a voice mail. They are a SCAM company, dealing in fraudulent activities!!!

Review: I received an invoice for $495.87 for services I never ordered. They say I agreed to purchase a listing in the Super pages LAST YEAR on 6-11-13 and are now billing me for a "bold listing" . ALL of my advertising is handled by an agency and no one at their offices or my offices ordered this service. I have called but they do not answer and do not return calls when I leave messages. I am afraid they will harm my credit rating if they say I'm not paying my bills. What can I do--- I did not order the "bold listing" or any listing.Desired Settlement: I want this invoice cancelled--- we did not order any service from them.

Business

Response:

Review: Received an invoice for $489.82. The invoice is for 2 years of BOLD LISTINGS. I never ordered or authorized this service. Never even heard of this company until I received the invoice. When that office was called, it goes to a voice mail for customer service and no one called back. A fax was also sent with no response. I want this invoice eliminated and my address and/or phone number removed. I know this is a scam and need help eliminating the problem.Desired Settlement: I would like for American Super Pages to eliminate the amount owed and delete my information from there database. I wish to be added to their DO NOT CALL, MAIL or FAX list.
