I can personally say that the experience with Robert and APB barns has been beyond satisfactory. The quality and attention to detail of every facet was appreciated by contractors and myself in building the structure.
I would and have recommended APB to other potential clients. Nothing but good to say about the commitment to customer satisfaction that APB demonstrates.
Thanks *** we try hard.

We worked with Robert *** in designing and building our indoor riding arena In Rehoboth, MA. We were so impressed with Robert's attention to detail and making sure all bases were covered. Robert's assistance in working with the architect and our contractor was the key to getting the job done correctly and on time. Our arena turned out to be beautiful.
we are really happy that your project was successful. That is always our goal. Thank you for taking the time to review our company!

We had an awesome experience with APB! We received everything that was promised and were not "nickel and dimed" for minor issues that we had during the process. The sales team was very easily accessible and responsive which made us feel very taken care of. I was extremely impressed by the quality of their materials.
A+ for APB Pole Barns!!!
we appreciate the kind words. We do our absolute best for every customer. We work hard to provide top quality material fresh from the mill so each customer has premium lumber, trusses, siding and roofing for their project. Thank you for taking the time to review us!

My husband and I were initially skeptical about making a large purchase over the internet, but the employees at APB seemed to be honest, attentive, and knowledgeable so we went for it! We received our building plans and package in the time frame that was specified and my husband was impressed with the quality. This was a DIY project so we had a lot of questions but our salesman was extremely helpful and went above and beyond even after the materials were delivered.
Thank you APB!

My husband and I purchased a pole barn kit from APB July 2017. First time the wind blew (clocked at 46 mph) the overhead barn door folded in half vertically. Contacted *** (owner) who contacted CHI, the door manufacturer, stating that hopefully, they would do the right thing by us. The 8' x 14' overhead door had no horizontal braces that would prevent this from happening. He said that was because they didn't have Colorado on their list of states that had wind 70ph or greater. He said from now on, Colorado will be on that list. Unfortunately, CHI would not compensate us for the poor quality door and *** of APB didn't want to "Do the right thing either". He only offered a replacement door at their cost with some logistics required to keep shipping down. At this point we do not want another one of their inferior doors expecting a different result. We wound up paying twice as much for a Sears door that is built for outdoors. ***'s lack of customer service gives him "One Star" and I want others to know about these flimsy doors. The email from *** read: "Sorry we didn't help I think CHI should mention that there is no wind protection on their doors unless windstorm rated. We changed our little handout for a successful project to reflect that. "
"We are going to recommend upgrading to wind rated doors in CO from now on too..." So they are happy to make corrections and their business will benefit and as for us, their customer, sucks to be us... that is how he made us feel.
Although we feel for the customer's situation we believe that three mistakes were made by the customer, all which created this issue. We bear no responsibility for this claim.
1. They ordered the least expensive door possible for their project (see page 2 of attachment)
2. They didn't inquire or express concern about high winds in their job location.
3. They didn't add the building to their homeowners policy so damages like this would be covered.
The attached invoice shows very clearly that our company does not provide warranties on materials sold. We do extend manufacturer warranties. This fact is highlighted in yellow on page 1. Page 2 reflects the bid (customer generated bid online) indicating an un-insulated door specified by the customer. This is the least expensive option available and contains only 1 exterior panel (on the outside) as opposed to an insulated door that has two panels sandwiching insulation within the door.
We confirmed that the customer does not live in a high wind area using permitting metrics (standard wind zone just like almost the entire USA) since we typically will recommend a wind rated door if the jobsite is in a high wind zone.
Further, permitting authorities in high wind zones will ensure that safety glass or shutters are included for windows, and that wind rated overhead doors are outfitted during the permit approval process when plan examination occurs. Since this customer is not in a high wind zone, none of those requirements were part of the permitting process.

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Three reasons: 1. There were no options to order a more expensive door. Since this is a barn "package" it only asked for dimensions. 2. We expected without reservation that APB Pole Barns were the "experts" when it comes to pole barns and felt no doubt that they would supply a door that would hold up to the elements. In this case, the winds were reported to be 46 mph and if this wind can fold their garage door in half vertically, it is a very poorly built door. It had no horizontal cross bars that would have prevented this. 3. The pole barn is covered on our home owners insurance and as I told Mr., this was a problem that he needed to resolve because of the poor quality door and that we were not going to report it to our home owners' insurance company. We were not about to have our home owners insurance cancelled over a $1,134.57 door. It wasn't the wind that was the problem, it was the flimsy door and *** is refusing to acknowledge his responsibility in the matter. We are very unhappy with APB Pole Barns and ***. We want him to do the right thing and refund the amount for the door.

My wife and I purchased a garage workshop combo from APB. We were very pleased with the process. The delivery was great and they unloaded the material and relocated it a short distance to our building location. The price we received included a discount for active military and the product quality was really good. It took us several weeks to get the building up and they scheduled delivery to where we had plenty of time to check that everything had been delivered. We had a few qustions during construction and they sent pictures to help us through. We thought the service and product was great.

We did a lot of research prior to purchasing. We settled on APB after talking with their sales department. The website was excellent (and easy to use) for setting up the project, picking colors, etc. Once ordered, it was delivered on the promised day (and for free). We had some changes required (after delivery and prior to construction) with the prints / drawings for the County approval and APB got those completed for us at no additional charge. The material was high quality, as was the design. APB was always there for us whenever we had a question. The building (40' x 60') went up with no issues (took about 3 weeks start to finish). We finished in the end of Feb 2018. We are very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend APB pole barns.
