prior to any involvement on our part. Any request for food loss should be directed to Whirlpool or the extended warranty company.This refrigerator has a built in diagnosis system which the technician accessed. There were no fault codes indicating any issues with the fan. There were no fault codes at all.  That said there was no reason to disassemble that area. It is not likely that fan has a problem. The technician involved is highly experienced and familiar with this product. I am sorry if the customer felt she was being lectured. We have no motives to take short cuts. The technician is going to contact the customer to discuss this. If the customer wishes to complete any additional repairs needed they should call the extended warranty company prior to doing so as it may void their warranty.
