Settled account was wrongfully sent to a debt collector and is now adversely affecting my credit We had difficulty with the management in this complex for almost our entire residencyThey were very rude, horrible at fixing issues and gave us a difficult time when we told them we'd be getting out of our lease earlyWe paid everything they asked because I've always had excellent credit and didn't want any issuesDespite doing this, I was informed years later (June 2016) that I was wrongfully reported to a debt collectorI now have to gather proof of payment so that this is resolvedThis is a huge inconvenience as well as frustrating having to deal with the debt collectors We were in the process of trying to refinance our home and were denied solely based on this ding on my credit

Arcadia gardens reported me to NCS or national credit systems for "not giving them days notice" that I was not going to renew my leasewhich I did give themnot only that, but I also did not initial the part of my agreement, agreeing to that part of our lease, which makes it obsoletethey accepted it without me agreeing to give days notice(which I still did) so now how can I be held accountable? I finished out my lease and paid in full and on time for the time I stayed thereI do not think that I should have to pay the $for "rent" or the "late fee" of $for something I never owed or was provided any services forthey are also trying to charge me a cleaning fee for something that was there when I moved in and marked on my move in sheetand now "they can not find any move in sheet" how convenientif I could give no stars I wouldi hope to hear for management so we can resolve this sooner than later
