This company was awesome, the guy even told me that he didn't think it would work in my very wet basement and I agreed but its been a month now and so far so good. Workers were very knowledgeable, curtious, they cleaned up everything after the job was done. They explained how everything worked. After 30 years with a wet basement I'm amazed. Would highly recommend Area Waterproofing. to everyone I know.

I had my basement walls beamed and they dug on the outside they used mortar to go over the cracks that happened during straightening and in between the beams and the wall..
well the mortar IMO is not adhering to the wall, you slide your hand over the mortar and its dust...its like it was not even mixed properly and the wall was not prepped before the mortar was applied and mortar comes off the wall so easily ..I don't think that should be like that ..
and the mortar that is in betwwen the beams are crumbling I have one beam where the mortar is loose ...
We have addressed the customers concerns several times. He unfortunately does not believe us that Mortar will crack, or will produce dust. It does not mean it has anything wrong with it. This is just the nature of Mortar. This particular customer has questioned every step we have taken in our process of doing his job. We have been back to his home over 6 times since doing the work, trying to address his concerns, however they are not realistic. We did tell the customer the next time he had a concern, that he should contact his local building inspector, and should the inspector find an issue with our work, we would come back and repair what he found. We have not heard anything from him or city of Fond Du Lac regarding an inspectors findings.

mortar is not supposed be dust when you swipe your hand across it . And not be crumbling and cracking within months of applying.... I spent a lot of money not to have water seeping where it was not before. But it’s worse now before they put there hands on it .. and of course and dam right I’m going to question everything it’s my hard earned money that payed it .. and my house ... inspector doesn’t know crap , A mason knows ...they are not fixing their mistakes and they know it .

We have responded to your every complaint, and have visited your home over 6 times responding to your complaints. We have went above and beyond to try to make you happy. When we are in the area we will stop over and look at the mortar for the 3rd time. IF we did not Stand behind our work we would not respond, nor would we make the effort to appease you 6 times previous. It gets to a point where there is nothing more we can do to make you happy, hence why we suggest a 3rd party to be involved. You are never going to be satisfied with our work regardless if its right or wrong, you feel you know more than us. Aaron will come out August 8th after 3pm.

We had a leaking basement window during March rains and frozen ground. Mike/Josh came out and sealed window and improved drainage. Still some issues but Mike came back and installed window well and applied sealant to cinder blocks as part of original project cost.

The workers arrived on time and completed the work as agreed. They were polite and personable. Even with all the rain we've had since then, we have no leakage through the basement walls to date.

Our experience with this company was excellent from the beginning with Andrew, their sales person, and then the 6 gentlemen that came to do the job. We have never seen 6 guys work so fast, so hard, and so efficiently in the two days it took them to complete our basement tile installation. We tried to tip them because of how impressed we were with their work but they refused saying that they already get paid for doing their jobs. We would recommend this company to anyone. Other people must appreciate how good they are because I was told they're booked solid through the end of the year. Thanks guys for everything.

Had a crack in. 60 year old poured wall fixed with deck on back of house. Mark fixed crack, was very honest with me saying should really be fixed from outside. Due to deck would fix from inside. Told us that if leaks why it would and to let them know. It was been three weeks with heavy rains and no leak. Would definitely recommend.

We had 4 old basement windows replaced with new glass block windows with vents in them. Mark came over and installed them. He was very professional and did a great job. They look even better then I thought it was going to look. If we have any basement work we need to have done in the future we know exactly who will be callings. Would also like to say that the whole staff was very friendly and very helpful. Thanks for everything guys.

I had my basement waterproofed and a sump pump installed on 2/4/19. The crew was very efficient and polite. I contacted the office several times with questions. Carmen was very helpful and always got back to me with answers to my concerns and questions. I have already recommended Area Waterproofing to someone. Great job and I am looking forward to a dry basement after the winter thaw and spring rains this spring!

Work was completed on time and appears to be very well done at a very competitive price. However, when asked why one of the previously existing beams was not moved to a location as described on the contract I was told that the listing on the contract was only a note of work that might be done but not necessarily included in the quote. I was told that the beam could be moved for an additional $25.00. And, the exchange became somewhat heated on the part of the installer. So at that point, I just dropped the issue.
As stated the work that was completed is very satisfactory but because of the interaction with the installer,? I would hesitate to do business with "Area Waterproofing? and Concrete LLC" in the future.
I had water issues and bowed walls in the basement. Area Waterproofing came in fixed the walls, installed a drainage and sump pump system , I also had them put in a new concrete driveway. Everything was explained to me they answered any questions or concerns I had as the job went on. The work was completed on time and to my satisfaction. A very friendly and efficient crew, was a pleasure to work with.

I had them out a year ago to fix two walls in my basement. The work was completed fine but one of the workers was really rude. They did miss one hole in the floor. I was selling my house this year and had him out to remeasure the wall after an inspector measured the wall incorrectly. He told me the walls were ok and were out at the most an inch. He then called the buyer and told him he would need to put 15 posts up because the walls would only get worse but he would give him a good deal. Not sure why he told me one thing and told the buyer another but I had to take $2000 off the price of my home to make the buyer happy.
