complainant returned to Aspen Beauty Academy.Enclosed is also a schematic of the area that was observed.As to the complaint, the incident was somewhat similar, but she was unsure what occurred or where and the doctor was unsure of how the infection occurred, I am sorry for this occurrence, but am sure that even an Ingrown hair will cause pain and infection such as this eg. a sty, boil, or a carbuncle.I hope this will clear tip the situation.If you should have any questions concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.Regards,

Review: I went to get my hair washed, cut and styled for a reasonable price $30. I wasn't particularly happy with the cut, but understood they were students...although the instructor cut my hair. The next day (Friday) I noticed my neck was red and a bit sore at hairline. I dismissed it as an insect bite. Saturday I was in pain and my neck started to swell up...Sunday was harder, barely slept. First thing Monday am, I went to my doctor to see what kind of insect could have bit me...she informed me that it was not an insect, as there are no insects in MD that could leave me so swollen but an infection...the only thing I could think of was the beauty school...After I filled my prescriptions I went to the beauty school to show them what happened. The lady at the front desk looked to see when I was seen and said I am sorry, ut no refunds. In addition she mentioned that the students would be pulled together to discuss "blood spill". I just left as the conversation went no where and my head hurt. Today I decided to write Revdex.com, because this is a health risk that should not of occurred regardless of their expertise. Of course I would never go back again.Desired Settlement: I totally get that students will make mistakes, but not ensuring clean equipment under the supervision of a licensed beautician is unacceptable. I have pictures ...I just don't think I should pay for a service that caused an unnecessary infection. I pay for Doctor visits privately
