Although getting a moving time scheduled to work around my work schedule was very hard, Assurance Van Lines did a great job at everything elseVery professional, responsive to my concerns and worked to accommodate me on a tight moving time-frame and a difficult situationI really owe them a positive review With an ill mother to look after and a full time job, I really didn't have time to deal with the stress and headaches of moving, specially of doing a "BIG Move", from Orlando to DC After speaking with a couple of moving brokers and moving companies, none of them seemed to care or understand that I actually take care for my sick mother and work full time and I needed to have EVERYTHING (other than my/my mothers clothing and documents) disassembled, packed, picked up, moved and restore at my new apartment Mike went over everything with me and although the packing added an extra $to the bill, he was kind enough to give me a discount of $which made my move quote come to $for a full bedroom move While I was at home, the guys they sent me were very clean, fast, they disassembled my tables, mirrors and armories and packed everything very professionalI can say I'm very happy they delivered all my items without any damages If it wasn't for them I don't think I would have done the move Thank you

I used Assurance recently for my move back to New York and they were pretty awesomeI worked with Vanessa on the phone who is amazing and so sweet.The movers showed up on time and began working very fast and were very careful with all my itemsThey had the truck packed in less than a dayAll of my items showed up in New York and nothing was scratched or brokenThe movers unpacked everything and were really great They really take pride in their work

Review for move [redacted] from NYC to Chicago Assurance was my moving broker for this move and overall rendered a positive experience being that this seems to be a crazy industryRachel, Daniel, Rob and Mike are the individuals who answered my calls and were prompt and professional in getting answers for me even when I got frustrated I misunderstood that movers were in charge of packing up the boxes, but realized they come at an extra costThere was nothing I could do other than get a neighbor the help me pack half, and pay the movers to do the other half of the boxes My original quoted price was $2985, final price came to $after paying for the boxing serviceThese guys were very fast, professional and knew what they were doingI asked them to put extra protection on my all mu furniture and they did it All my items arrived safely and I'm very happy with the delivered service

I used AVL to bring my parents closer to us in NYThey scheduled packers, movers and did the same once my parents got to their new homePrice was competitive, but deffinitely worth it since the only finger we lifted was to point boxes and furniture Thanks, [redacted] ***

I hired this company to move out furniture from Columbus, Ohio to Georgia They subcontracted to [redacted] *** I would not use them again nor will I recommend themI received the delivery calendar later than our scheduled delivery date, charged me 20% more than original amount, driver didn’t know to drive and park 53’ truck - ended up damaging landscaping, received the delivery with damage/broke the sofa frame and tower fan, very hard to communicate with driver and crew members as they only knew few English words The sales person and manager were very nice until I signed the contract but experienced RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL behavior from both John and Kassandra during the post piprocessThey DO NOT qualify as a A+ rating by Revdex.com as they been advertising to consumer Our contract number is [redacted]

Mike, I wanted to drop by and thank you for the relocation assistance your company provided usA bedroom home sounds like it's not a lot of moving, but after this move and $later, I don't think I'll ever move againWe love the new place and you guys played a huge role in getting us to La Crescenta, CA from New MexicoOut off all the moving done, The dining table chairs were the only items that got damaged because of the fragile wood material I'm glad this is done and you guys did very wellThank you

Although the moving was not 100% perfect, it was close to it Assurance quoted me for $for a large bedroom move from Virginia Beach to South Florida, but when the movers showed up they told me it would be $since my armoire piece was considered a large furniture piece and it required extra square footage I didn't take it personal since the rep at Assurance Van Lines had asked me for specific measurements and I had given them off the cuff estimatesSo it's not their fault Aside from this misunderstanding, the moving went wellSome minor scratches on my kitchen table but with this was an Ikea table, so I wasn't hard about it

My move from Florida back from NY was way smoother than the it was when we moved down thereThe difference was that we chose to have the pros do it instead of us saving a few hundred dollars and doing the uhaul ourselvesThe price given to us was definitely within our budget, and the time frame for move was perfectThis is a good company with a great support team

Customer: [redacted] ID: [redacted] The customer was picked up on time and paid half of the balanceThe rest of the remaining balance is due when the household goods gets deliveredThe delivery date that the customer chose was December **, The customer contacted the carrrier stating that they won’t have all of the money when the move is deliveredThe carrier stated that if they don’t pay the full amount the move cannot be unloaded and they must pay storage fee and redelivery feeThe contract states: “All final balance due’s are to be paid in money order or cash to the carrier prior to the truck being unloadedIf customer fails or refuses to pay balance due, carrier holds the right to warehouse or storage the household goods at shipper’s expenseFor re-delivery of the warehoused or stored household goods, the balance due must be paid in full, including storage and re-delivery fees, prior to the truck loading goods from warehouse or storage and sent out for delivery.”
