We called Atlantis Plumbing because we had had a good experience with them a few years ago in our old house, and our relator had recommended them at that timeWe scheduled an appointment with them between am and pm They were late, showing up at 1:after I called them to find out where they wereI told them I needed to leave home by 2:15, and they assured me it would not be a problem, but I ended up calling my husband to come home from work at 2:The plumber did adequate work fixing leaky taps to the washer - he replaced them for over $- which was much more expensive than we anticipated and given the other information we know now, I question whether a replacement was really necessaryHe then stated our PRV valve was bad and was giving inconsistent and high readingsHe would not sign the low flow certification for the county because of itWe contacted the Home Inspector, who stated our PRV was fine a few weeks earlier when they checked it, reading between 55-The home inspector also immediately signed the certification form for us and said PRV has nothing to do with that and it sounded like our plumber was trying to take advantage of usWe then contacted another plumber through our home warranty company who stated the PRV reads consistently at He said either the plumber from Atlantis had a bad gauge or was trying to make extra money off of usThe plumber from Atlantis also told us our garbage disposal could not be moved to the larger of our two sinks in the kitchenHowever, the new plumber said it was no problem to do that and took care of it for us on the spot for a reasonable feeAtlantis has lost a loyal customerI was very unimpressed with the experience

We found a leak in the basement coming from the above master bathroom area Alarmed that a major bursting of pipes might occur, we went online to find a plumber Atlantis was the only one of three that promised they would come out within two hours of our call True to their word, a courteous, knowledgeable, and professional young man completed the repair to our satisfaction We will definitely use them again and recommend them to others

SCHEMERS AND LIARS!!!!! I do not even want to give them a star but I had to We were in a bind due to the over flow of our restrooms and these people took advantage of us They were reasonably priced and had great reviews on-line We are not plumbers and they were knowledgeable about what they were doing, so naturally we trusted them They came in and began working quickly, informed us of the issues that caused the overflow from the bathrooms and were able to fix it immediately However, these men sat outside our door half of the time chatting with one another, using some profane language I may add, and took 1-hour lunch breaksThey did a horrible job cleaning up after themselves and the concrete they poured looked terrible! Not to mention we couldn't fully use our restrooms to the "normal" capacity after the job they had completed After being taken for an expensive ride, these men then told us we would need to do additional work After completing their initial work on our sewer lines, they informed us they would need to demo our floors inside the restrooms and rip up out the pipes underneath the bathrooms and have them replaced due to a leak They gave us a price tag of $25,000!!! We had a second plumbing company come in and give us an estimate of their own, just to compare prices With the second plumbers, we were able to view, with our own eyes, inside the actual "leaking line" and saw there was NO detection of a leak Atlantis Plumbing said there was We were informed by an anonymous source this company rips people off because the sub contractors hired to do the physical work are paid 50% profit These guys lied about all the work that "needed" to be done just to make an extra buck We are not even sure if the work we did pay for was even necessary Horrible ethics and immoral workers! Never again will I use these people and I will NEVER recommend anyone to use them Stay far away from them

We called Atlantis Plumbing because we had had a good experience with them a few years ago in our old house, and our relator had recommended them at that time. We scheduled an appointment with them between 10 am and 12 pm. They were late, showing up at 1:30 after I called them to find out where they were. I told them I needed to leave home by 2:15, and they assured me it would not be a problem, but I ended up calling my husband to come home from work at 2:45. The plumber did adequate work fixing leaky taps to the washer - he replaced them for over $300 - which was much more expensive than we anticipated and given the other information we know now, I question whether a replacement was really necessary. He then stated our PRV valve was bad and was giving inconsistent and high readings. He would not sign the low flow certification for the county because of it. We contacted the Home Inspector, who stated our PRV was fine a few weeks earlier when they checked it, reading between 55-65. The home inspector also immediately signed the certification form for us and said PRV has nothing to do with that and it sounded like our plumber was trying to take advantage of us. We then contacted another plumber through our home warranty company who stated the PRV reads consistently at 65. He said either the plumber from Atlantis had a bad gauge or was trying to make extra money off of us. The plumber from Atlantis also told us our garbage disposal could not be moved to the larger of our two sinks in the kitchen. However, the new plumber said it was no problem to do that and took care of it for us on the spot for a reasonable fee. Atlantis has lost a loyal customer. I was very unimpressed with the experience.

Butch was a breath of fresh air. I hired another company to replace a sewer drain for $5500 and a 2 day timeframe. After the first day and a 10ft hole in my back yard, they told me the job could take 2 weeks and the price could triple. Luckily, I called Atlantis and Butch was out there same day and said he could get the job done for the original quote of the first company in 1.5 days. He was finished in 1 day. Butch was honest and professional during a time when I was in a very vulnerable position (a giant hole in the backyard with sewage draining into it is a bit of an emergency situation!). Thank you Butch. I would recommend this company to anyone.
