Dear Revdex.com:This is not true .  He told us that the vehicle ran good except the lights started flickering and going off and on. He never mentioned anything about check engine light. Besides, that particular car we had completely serviced the whole car. 1) complete tune up. 2) New brakes and...

rotors .3)fresh oil change and changed all the fluids. This vehicle ran great. We did not know about any light flickering and that's the only thing that he complained about. We told him that it must be a switch that has gone bad.Since he was in North Carolina and was far away.... We told him to have it checked out and let us know how much it was going to cost to have it fixed. After few days he contacted us and told us it was going to be $150 dollars. He never said $1000 and he never said check engine light on. The warranty would have covered his engine issues if they were any . So , we sent him a check for $150 dollars and we thought he was happy. There was never a mention of $1000 dollar repair and the check engine light being on . We would have addressed that issue right away.
Thank you

Review: I purchased, a used car with a 3 month. warranty from the dealer. While returning to North Carolina. the check engine light and the light started blinking on and off.I contacted the dealer he told me take the car to be serviced.I sent him a estimate the bill. he refused to do any of the Repair s. I told him I would go in have and pay half on the Repair s.But he would only pay$150.00 on $1000.00 on repairs.Desired Settlement: The Dealership pays for 50% of the Repair s and Honor their Warranty and their agreement.to end a contract

brought a 2007 cadillac escalade in march of 2015 and the tranmission went out in november 2015 had the suv lets then a year called to ask about the extended warranty and the salesman name Moe that sold me the truck was very rude has if it wasn't his problem and he went further to say that as long as I drove it off the lot and it was working that it wasn't his problem.- very bad customer service when you sale someone and SUV for 24,000 with a bad transmission and have no concern in helping a customer lets then a year

Review: I PURCHASED AN UNKNOWINGLY DEFECTIVE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE BROKE DOWN WITHIN FOUR DAYS OF THE PURCHASE. THE VEHICLE WAS BEING REPAIRED FOR TWO MONTHS BEFORE IT WAS RELEASED BACK TO ME. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THERE WERE MORE ISSUES THAN BEFORE. I TRIED TO TAKE THE VEHICLE BACK TO AUTO BANK, BUT THE MANAGER "[redacted]" SAID MY ISSUES WOULD BE BETWEEN ME AND THE MECHANIC HE PAID TO DO WORK ON MY VEHICLE. THE MECHANIC WANTED MONEY FROM MY POCKET TO FIX THE VEHICLE AGAIN. I WAS STILL WITHIN MY WARRANTY AND MY REQUEST FOR A FIXED VEHICLE WAS DENIED. I JUST WANTED A REFUND OR ANOTHER VEHICLE BEFORE I MADE THE FIRST PAYMENT. SIX PAYMENTS IN, I STILL HAVE A VEHICLE I CANNOT DRIVE AND MONEY THAT NEEDS TO BE REFUNDED TO ME!Desired Settlement: I WANT MY MONEY BACK. I WILL NOT SETTLE FOR ANOTHER VEHICLE OFF OF THIS COMPANY'S LOT

Response:

This Customer purchased a vehicle from us and about a week later she stated that the vehicle was not running. We asked her to take the vehicle to a mechanic of her choice and let us know whats wrong with the vehicle. After a day or so her mechanic called us and told us that the vehicle needed engine work. We told her mechanic to give us an estimate of how much the vehicle repair was going to cost. [redacted] purchased the vehicle for $5900 from us. The mechanic told us the repair was going to cost $2700 which we agreed and paid her mechanic ( We have copies of cancelled checks.) . We also provided [redacted] with a loaner car until her car was being fixed. Unfortunately, Her mechanic did not fix the vehicle the right way. After she picked up the vehicle and brought our loaner back...the vehicle has a miss and it was leaking antifreeze. I told [redacted] that she had to take the vehicle back to her mechanic and tell him that the vehicle was not fixed right. We already paid $2700 to her mechanic to have the vehicle fixed the right way. We have done everything to try to have [redacted] Satisfied. Unfortunately, her mechanic did not fix the vehicle right.
