I ordered a part and paid for 2day shipping from [redacted]. I got MY Order Confirmation email. But I watched as it was being Edited while in my INBOX. I then learned from a computer tech that its possible and they can retract it too. As usual I forewarded a copy to another email for the lifetime warranty saved. BUT after this item did not arrive in 3 days, I looked for my Order Confirmation and it was gone from my inbox. I phoned this Co and was told I had a different - Later- purchase date. I then forwarded them a copy of my original message (frm other email) so I did have proof and I did get a refund for part of the 2day shipping fee. They claimed they did not retract their email. Only proof is on their server. I would NEVER delete it. It seems to me this is a bad business tactic that now will be the norm? I am wondering if a company can be stopped from editing and retracting an Order Confirmatioon messages, since it is changing the contract on the buyer after the purchase was made. People need to be aware this can happen. I doubt it will stop without legal recourse. I have yet to recieve this item from fedEx.
