B. Walden Interiors

I retained the service of B. Walden Interiors, owner [redacted] to install carpet in my upstairs of my home on June 22, 2011. Immediately on June 29, 2011 I had seams pulling up in my master bedroom. I contacted by e-mail and phone B. Walden Interiors, whom initially blamed on a grease stain I had removed. I went into store to demand a refund and or replacing the rug. [redacted] mentioned she had to first file a claim with the carpet manufacturer. This was done, and a independent flooring inspector came out to my house Mr. [redacted]. He wrote a report on July 22, 2011 that due to improper sealing of the seams that the rug delaminated. Best Buy, the carpet manufacturer sent a letter to B. Walden declining the claim and stated a valid manufacturing defect could not be found. I put these charges into dispute with my Bank and credit card. These recently were just put back on my card since I was unable to return the carpet. I have a second opinion from a reputable carpet installer [redacted] that wrote a report and letter supporting the manufacturer findings that the seams were not sealed causing premature delaminating of the rug, the rug cannot be repaired and that it should be removed and replaced with new carpet. I allowed B. Walden Interiors to come to my house to access the situation on August 8, 2011. I have an e-mail from [redacted], working in behalf of [redacted], stating to me they will take care of the carpet and to this date have seen no action. I would like a full refund so that I can remove the carpet to install new carpet with sealed seams.
