Hello, my original complaint assigned ID [redacted] on December 17th I wrote about a complaint I have with muffler-man need to reopen the complainton December 18th I receive an answer an it reads as fallows : There was a misunderstanding by my employee since this was discussed over the phoneplease bring the vehicle and all documents into the shop and we will evaluate the situation.if we did use the wrong part on that vehicle we definitly will replace itThank You [redacted] ***on December 19th I went to the muffler-man with the vehicle and original receipt I was told that it was the wrong part# installed but was welling to work with methe muffler-man resolution was to charge me $to replace their mistake and install the correct part# at this point I told them that I will go about my day and left the shop with the wrong part# installedI will take my vehicle to another muffler shop to have them replace the work catalytic converter with the correct one I don't see any more reason to go back to muffler-man.Desired Resolution:RefundselectDesired Outcome:i have provided an original receipt and now wanting a full refund send to me

I did have the customer come in for us to evaluate the documents and the carwe found that the customer had purchased the used converter with pipe from a different car and installed it onto his car himself, first of all it is not the right part or pipe it is hitting all over so the fit is not correct, 2nd of all this is not the car we repaired and the invoice he has from the parted out car is too faded or erased to see what year make or model the car is but the plate number shows and it is not this vehicle so the warranty would be voidwe were trying to help the guy out by giving him one heck of a deal on a new converter but that offer is now voidi am sorry he has left unhappy but this is not our responsibility

I am rejecting this response because: I have provided all necessary documents to show the information that muffler-man requires to show make and model of vehicle in questionI request that Revdex.com asks muffler-man to show a document showing that part#*** is the proper replacement for pre-obdII Honda civic..I believe is not to much to ask of muffler-man I have research on my own and can provide the same document that hopefully muffler-man can provide and you will find that no Honda civic from 1988-takes part#*** the correct replacement part# is *** and further more this part#*** is a replacement of all 1988-Honda civic, civic sedan, crx and civic wagon I did not leave muffler-man unhappy, I left muffler-man disappointed
