Revdex.com spoke with the owner of the business who stated that they will fix the issue if the vehicle is under warranty and the customer can provide a warranty. If there is not a warranty for the vehicle and it was sold as-is, the customer is responsible for any necessary repairs.

Dear Miss [redacted],         BD Auto Repairs just received a letter from Revdex.com in regards a 2006 [redacted] VIN- [redacted]. This vehicle was sold to  [redacted] and a CO-purchaser Miss [redacted], on March 22, 2016. The vehicle was...

given to the customer to test drive and was also given the liberty to take to a mechanic of their choice if desired. At the moment of sale the vehicle was properly inspected and in perfect condition to be sold. We are a respected used car dealership and known for our good customer service. this vehicle was rebuilt, but the costumer was told and given a document at the moment of sale stating the vehicle had been rebuilt and the customer was fully aware of all the paperwork they were signing. Miss [redacted] signed the Rebuilt Vehicle Disclosure Statement form # VSA 59. I will send to Revdex.com a copy of the signed document. Therefor I believe there is no motive or reasonable excuse for BD Auto Repairs to refund anything. The process was done in a complete and legal way. We also believe the customer is being untruthful. If the vehicle was insured and anything was to happen to the vehicle, it should be covered by the insurance company. If the vehicle was not eligible for coverage, it would've never been covered in the first place. They also were supposed to have full coverage insurance. Which they didn't, they had liability.I contacted the insurance company they vehicle was insured with, and I was told and  sent proof that the vehicle was not covered at the date of the "situation". I will make sure I send all the proper paper work to get this resolved. If any further questions or any concerns feel free to contact us at 804-253-7196 or 804-232-3100. Sincerely BD Auto Repairs

I do not agree with this because of the fact Mr.A[redacted] did not tell me about this car being totaled. By law you're suppose to tell and explain to the customer everything about the car if it has been totaled. He didn't give me a copy of any paper work either about this car. Also the insurance told you I wasn't insured the day of the situation but they didn't say why they dropped me from insurance and that was because they don't insure "branded" cars meaning cars that have been totaled before. If I knew the car was totaled before I would have got another insurance. I feel as if Mr.A[redacted] wasn't upfront about everything with this car. Therefore as a solution to this problem I would like a refund for what I've paid or we can both agree on offering me another car.
Regards,
[redacted]

I paid cash for this vehicle no warranty was given. I told him about this issue not even 30days later. This does not resolve the issue.

Review: I bought a car from a dealership and he didn't provide the proper information about the car meaning I didn't know the car had been totaled before. I didn't find out the car was totaled until the car broke down and my insurance wouldn't cover it because they don't deal with "branded"

cars. I just want my money back from what I put down and the payments I made because I was sold a lemon.Desired Settlement: I just want the down payment and the car payments back.

Business

Response:

Dear Miss [redacted],

Review: This Business intentionally sold as car that they new needed work done to it and did not disclose that they knew it needed valve cover gaskets for a major oil leak. even though it was as is your supposed to disclose this information. I went in to the shop to finialize the sales and told them what was happening and they then told me the issues and wanted to charge me to fix what they already knew what it was when they sold it. So I took it to get checked and it was what they said and the cost is 964.00Desired Settlement: I would like them not to be able to lie to potential customers and pay atlest half of this bill or fix the issue.

Review: Subject:In the matter of BD Auto Repairs/Auto Express SalesSir/Madam:On March 15, 2014, I put a $500.00 deposit to buy a used [redacted] car from BD Auto Repairs/Auto Express Sales. The shop is located at [redacted]. On March 17, 2014, I picked the car after paying the remaining balance of $7,199.00. [redacted] gave me a week warranty on the [redacted]. On March 19, 2014, I contacted [redacted] to let him know that the air-conditioning unit of the car was not working. He advised me to bring the car to his shop so that his mechanic can check it out and have it fixed. I drove my Honda car to his shop on March 22, 2014, while his mechanic was working on the air conditioning unit, the car wouldnt start. [redacted] accused me of using the key I bought from [redacted]. The dealership is located in [redacted], west of [redacted] in [redacted]. I told [redacted] that I never used the new key to start my car because I was aware that it needed to be programmed first. [redacted] had my car taken to [redacted] to check the cars problem. My car sat at the dealerships facility because [redacted] took time to give his go-ahead for my car to be checked. The car dealer staff found out that the problem was the cars computer. [redacted] did not have my car fixed at that dealership but instead had it towed back to his shop. After a few days, [redacted] had it towed to another shop, [redacted] located at [redacted] for the computer repair. It took more than two weeks before I was able to get my car back, on April 2, 2014. [redacted] had me pay $335.00 before he would release my car to me. Also, he did not have the air-conditioning unit of my car fixed. When I asked him to have my car fixed based on the warranty he gave me, he flatly refused to do it unless I pay him the full amount it will cost to repair the cars air-conditioning unit. He denied giving me a warranty on my car when I bought it from him. In the first place, I would have not brought my car back to his shop if there was no really warranty on it from him. When I went back to his shop to request for the repair of the air conditioning unit, he would not even let me speak. He kept on talking himself out with lies until my mother just asked him if he really would not have the air conditioning fixed. We left his shop after he clearly said that he would not have it done unless I pay for the repair. My [redacted] was still within the one week warranty he gave me when I found out the problem with the car, BD Auto Repairs/Express Auto Sales did not honor its warranty on the car I bought from them. I suffered for more than two weeks borrowing other car so I can go to school and work. Also, I should have not made to pay any portion of the repair cost and the air-conditioning unit was not fixed. [redacted] took advantage of me. I respectfully request that the matter be investigated and proper action be taken. This improper business practice should be stopped so that customers will not have to be in the same situation I went through with BD Auto Repairs/ Express Auto Sales. [redacted] treated me very aggressively. Respectfully,[redacted]Tel.: [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $255.00 to repair the computer problem and the cost of the air conditioning unit of the car of the [redacted]c Car I bought from BD Auto Repairs ([redacted]). Note: Disputed total amount is an estimate of $500.00 - repair of the air conditioning unit is in progress).
