After Mrs. [redacted] spoke to our General Manager in a very aggressive threatening manner, we decided it would be best for all parties if we cancelled and waived the buyout fees for both Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]’ accounts effective 4/15/17. Additionally, we notified Mrs. [redacted] of both the cancellation and waive of buyout fees in person on 4/17/17. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
However, I do want to clarify again that they are not being honest. We were never notified of the cancellation until my husband went in there on 04/19 and was denied service at the gym. We were not notified of the cancellation until then. Also they are obtaining signatures on a keypad without allowing customers to see what they are signing it are 'reading the terms' without producing a copy prior to signing. They produced signatures on a contract that is misrepresenting the actual way they handle business. I did not speak to anyone threatening and never spoke to the Gm just the manager. They informed me that they couldn't give me the gMs number. I don't threaten people, they hide behind their contracts and are not doing business ethically.

[redacted] signed up with [redacted]’s billing information (financial co-signer section signed) three months earlier than [redacted]. We understand that Mr. [redacted] may have missed the buy-out fee during both the rate card presentation and processing of the membership join for both [redacted] on 6/17/15 and himself on 9/28/15. As a result, we would be willing to waive one of the two buy-out fees that apply to those two memberships. In regards to [redacted]’s membership agreement – she signed on her own behalf with billing information in her name on yet another date so it’s unclear why Mr. [redacted] is contesting her buy-out fee.
