We have no reason to acknowledge this any further. As we stated in our first letter the gutters clearly weren't damaged by our work, The initial installation of the copper gutter seams (soldered) was faulty, The seams tame apart Split under pressure from an ice load more than likely, if we damaged the gutters there would be a dent, scratch or something to show evidence of us damaging the gutters. We feel the claim should have been closed without showing up of our report immediately simply because the customer hasn't shown you a photo showing damage to the gutters (dents, scratches, etc. - anything to show we physically damaged them) because there is no damage.
The new" information came out only after we sent our first response in to the Revdex.com. We worked with this customer in good faith (including several trips to his home) until we discovered the real issue (soldered Seams were defective) We told the customer. He did not like this answer because that meant we weren't paying for the gutter repair. " . . . . .
We have nothing else to add. When we are not to blame for a problem what else can we do? We will not pay his bill for the gutter repair. Hopefully the Revdex.com will close this complaint. It is unjustified. If the homeowner sees all this damage then where is the proof that our company did this? We protected his gutters during the installation -- end of story. We shouldn't have to repeatedly defend ourselves from people who make accusations without proof. Please let me know if you need anything at [redacted],
