I called ARS Rescue Rooter Saturday 11-09-to have my washing machine cut offs replacedWhen the service man arrived he did not even have the parts to replace the cut offsI asked him how much the charge would be and he stated $I told him that was too high and that my regular plumber ( which was closed on the week-end) would charge $for the same job.He called his boss and would not lower the price and he left My regular plumbing company came out Monday morning and did the complete job for $and guaranteed the job What a difference in the price for the same small jobIt is always smart to get a second quate for home repair with a respected company

Hello, In regards to the entire project- this was an insurance claim filed on her home to repair damagesThe insurance company, as part of usual practice- will pay to repair the damaged areas to get the home back to its exact, pre-loss condition, Less their insurance policy deductible of 1,000.00, as it is the out of pocket to the insured for the repairsThe deductible is required to be paid on all claim repairsThe inscohas a Set price program- they pay a specific dollar amount Per item to be repairedPrior to beginning the insco is given an itemized list of repairs to be done - this list of repairs is fully reviewed and approved by the inscompany adjuster - and again, they pay a specify dollar amount for Each repair/item to be done In regards to the amount in question, we were paid $by her insurance company for the hand-scraping that was Not done on her flooring- we had provided the approved list showing this said amount to Mrs [redacted] and at our last meeting this was also discussed and shownMrs [redacted] was sent the check which was the exact amount BCC received for the item not completed We do not have any numbers showing that's mentionedThe homeowner had elected to not have the hand-scraping done and this was to also help lessen the out of pocket expense of the 1,deductible that is required to have the repairs completed In regards to the carpet seam repair- the project manager had reached out directly to Mrs [redacted] after the 2nd repair was done and she had mentioned she was happy with itHowever if a new issue has arose with the carpet, we will happily address this issue as we want all the completed items to be correct and satisfactoryIn some cases, the inscompany does like to try all avenues to Repair before they ReplaceAs this was insurance claim, all repairs were and are reviewed/approved/paid by the insco., - If the carpet repair is unable to be done correctly to match the existing- the inscompany will have to address another option to better suit the areaWe are happy to help Mrs [redacted] move forward with helping her on the carpet issue until she is satisfied Thank you for your time,

RE: We contacted the Homeowner as of 7/28/to address the issues - all issues have been discussed and rectified as of 8/5/In regards to the flooring, prior to beginning the project manager and MsJeffrey had discussed the overall look of how the floors would beHer damaged flooring that we were repairing for her, had hand-scraping doneAt this meeting she elected to not have this additional hand-scraping done and to have a credit back for the cost of said hand-scraping, As this was an insurance claim BCC had only been paid a specific dollar amount for the hand-scraping item: this amount was 768.03, paid to BCC from her insurance company at the timeShe did pay the required deductible of 1,upon signing and any remaining balances would be handled at completionShe has also been mailed a check for the 768.03, the credit due to her for the hand-scraping cash-outUpon discussing the wood flooring she understood- she also had mentioned she was unhappy with a carpet seam repair doneWe addressed this area and had a new technician come and repair the area againWe called Ms [redacted] after this repair was done and she advised us she was now satisfied with the repair and we ended on a great note
On Thursday, August 11, my shower started leaking I googled emergency plumbers and after some transfers finally connected to the Dallas ARS group They wanted to charge $for after hour repairs but they couldn't tell me how long it would be until the tech arrived I was impressed by Jimmy - he called and walked me through turning the water off at the street to prevent a huge loss of water That's where the good service endedI scheduled an appointment for Friday, August at 11:am I didn't even hear from the company until 12:pm at which time they told me the tech would arrive in about - minutes At 1:pm I called back only to find out that the tech was stuck in traffic the tech finally arrived at 2:PM and proceeded to tell me it was going to cost $to replace the pins in the handles of the shower to stop the leak I reluctantly agreed minutes later the tech told me that a screw broke off and he was going to have to replace everything This jacked up the price to $ He then told me he didn't have the parts in his big company vehicle and had to go to Home Depot Almost an hour later he gets back, finishes the work I asked him how much the parts cost and he deflected the question saying that the company pays their techs on commission so the repair rates are a flat fee I looked up the parts he installed and the kit cost less than $and yet the repair cost went up $ He also wouldn't provide an itemized account of the fees By the time everything was finished over hours had elapsed I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone looking for plumbing work I was in a bind and needed to get the work done but if I had known it was going to take hours I could have done the work myself using YouTube and saving myself at least $

Neil came to our home on Sunday morning, he was Very polite and Very professionalGave me several options to remedy our problem each of a different price, he explained each of these options completely, suggested but was very open as to which option we choseNeil finished the job in a very timely fashion as wellVery nice young man
I had a simple job replacing an old piece of plumbing equipment The entire job consisted of removing the old unit from the wall and replacing it with the new unit (I had already purchased) The job consisted of cutting two copper pipes and sweating two new connectors on and attaching flex pipe to the new unit It should take a professional plumber an hour or two at the most ARS quoted me almost bucks for the job When I told them that was outrageous and it was only two hours worth of labor max, their response to me was they charge by the job, not by the hour By the way, I ended up doing the job myself (not a professional plumber) and completed the job in hours (taking frequent breaks) It is sad when a company takes advantage of the consumer
