Bright Title and Trust LLC Reviews (2)

I would not recommend this company Their business practices are questionable and the relationships they have with their "investors" and "buyers" are unprofessional, as they are not a neutral party in the closing process, as experienced through our situation We were doing business with Bright Title & Trust while working directly with a company called " [redacted] " who claim they buy your home for cash Bright Title indicated that [redacted] was a reputable company and that they (Bright Title) did all of their closings After weeks of being strung along by their employees that a closing was going to happen (we have text messages to verify this), we came to find out that [redacted] was not going to buy our home for cash and their advertisements were not valid Bright Title & Trust then claimed that the closing could not happen because they could not get a hold of their buyer and therefore could not verify funds She (Kirsten H.) stated that our expectations for a closing date were unrealistic (we gave them days); however, [redacted] 's website states that the closing can occur within days and Linda from their office also stated via telephone that a closing can occur within 7-days so long as there are no title issues Once confronted with this information and asked why they had lied and misrepresented the information and process to us, Kirsten sent a rude and unprofessional email, berating and blaming us for the closing not happening She then went on to state that she was in direct communication with [redacted] 's investors and "they said your home was not a good deal" Our question was why this title company would be communicating directly with investors and buyers when they are supposed to be a neutral party in the closing process? We called and attempted to speak to her (or any employee at the office), left a message for them to call us back, and also responded to her email--yet, all went unanswered We gave them the opportunity to communicate with us and discuss what went wrong, but we have not heard from them since (The e-mail from Kirsten Hand our response back to her can be made available for viewing upon request)

I would not recommend this company. Their business practices are questionable and the relationships they have with their "investors" and "buyers" are unprofessional, as they are not a neutral party in the closing process, as experienced through our situation. We were doing business with Bright Title & Trust while working directly with a company called "[redacted]" who claim they buy your home for cash. Bright Title indicated that [redacted] was a reputable company and that they (Bright Title) did all of their closings. After 2 weeks of being strung along by their employees that a closing was going to happen (we have text messages to verify this), we came to find out that [redacted] was not going to buy our home for cash and their advertisements were not valid. Bright Title & Trust then claimed that the closing could not happen because they could not get a hold of their buyer and therefore could not verify funds. She (Kirsten H.) stated that our expectations for a closing date were unrealistic (we gave them 14 days); however, [redacted]'s website states that the closing can occur within 7 days and Linda from their office also stated via telephone that a closing can occur within 7-10 days so long as there are no title issues. Once confronted with this information and asked why they had lied and misrepresented the information and process to us, Kirsten sent a rude and unprofessional email, berating and blaming us for the closing not happening. She then went on to state that she was in direct communication with [redacted]'s investors and "they said your home was not a good deal". Our question was why this title company would be communicating directly with investors and buyers when they are supposed to be a neutral party in the closing process? We called and attempted to speak to her (or any employee at the office), left a message for them to call us back, and also responded to her email--yet, all went unanswered. We gave them the opportunity to communicate with us and discuss what went wrong, but we have not heard from them since. (The e-mail from Kirsten H. and our response back to her can be made available for viewing upon request).
