In rebuttal to Sherco's response, we did not receive a bid prior to the work being completedWe were told by Sherco that they would charge the amount that the insurance company would pay for each propertySherco assured us that they were experts in reviewing and submitting insurance claims and to leave it up to themSherco told us that they had an employee whose job was strictly to handle insurance claims and that she had special software to compile the information Thus, we gave the insurance estimate papers to ShercoThe insurance papers clearly show the insurance estimate is for two propertiesAgain, we were relying on the expertise of Sherco to properly handle the insurance paymentSherco assured us that they would seek additional funds from the insurance company if costs were greater than the original insurance estimate It is very uncanny that the amount charged by Sherco for the one roof very nearly parallels the insurance proceeds for the two houses To further support our claim, we are attaching a bid for the same property from a very reputable company that replaces the roof at $7,However, we chose to work with Sherco because they had already repaired several properties for us and we had been satisfied with their previous work and Sherco had a larger crew so they worked fasterSherco charged more than double this other estimate We continue to believe that Sherco over charged us for the roof repairs Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 12, 2015/09/15) */ There were three layers of singles on the roof one asphalt and two wood shakesWe also had to replace the decking with sheets of plywoodInvoice attachedThat we did not charge additional forAccording to your bid from [redacted] Construction that would amount to $for the plywoodAs I only charged you for one layer of tear-off alsoThe estimate that we sent you is out of the Exactimate computer program, the unit prices are determined by the program not usSo, realistically we could have charged an addition fee for the plywood as one more additional layer at a cost of $

the attached document is a copy of the survey signed by the owner prior to building his home clearly showing the dimensions wich by the way meets all the county requirements I did not develop the property it was done by the previous owner I did not create the lots as far as the moving truck goes there are many driveways on homes that we have built that are ft longand all those people have managed to move and sell without issue

I did not create the plat. the attached document shows that bill [redacted] created this in2006.  the lot configuration was done per the plat.

the attached document is a copy of the survey signed by the owner prior to building his home clearly showing the dimensions wich by the way meets all the county requirements.  I did not develop the property it was done by the previous owner I did not create the lots.  as far as the moving...

truck goes there are many driveways on homes that we have built that are 30 ft long. and all those people have managed to move and sell without issue.
