No, we do not accept this response. The dealer said this tire was under warranty for 40,000 miles when I purchased it. However, when it turned out to be defective I was given a differnt story. I had to buy a new tire to get home, but he said that would be refunded after he completed the return with the manufacturer. Clearly, this dealer has given misleading/false information in order to get a sale. He should stand by his word. That's what I expected, when I went to a small, local business. Apparently, he has no reputation to protect like a large company. I think he is taking advantage of unsuspecting customers.
