As we told them, we are fully prepared to follow the NJ Used Car Lemon Law guidelines(see attached) It doesn't seem like the customer wants this so we are prepared to give her a full refundIt does state that she would have to bring the car to our mechanicAlso the KBB value is higher than
what we sold it to her so we gave her a great price on her purchaseThey are asking for more than the warranty coversThey are entitled to a NJ used car lemon law warranty not a new car warranty from a Subaru DealerThe car has lots of service on the carfax and we have not been given the opportunity to validate anythingWe are ready to follow the law

The customer purchased the car in an "AS IS" condition and therefore we're are not obligated to take it back under any circumstances. He drove the car 150+ miles, 300+ miles round trip so there is a cost per mile on any vehicle. The O2 is $35, our cost. We will be happy to buy it for him.  $129 must be a retail price he is referring to. We told him we would offer him more than $2,700. We would be happy to discuss. We told him what our computer diagnosis was so we are not sure what Honda dealer is trying to sell him.  Maybe he should get a second opinion. No one lied to him we told him the truth and what our computer read from the car's problem. We are sorry for any inconvenience but when you buy a car "AS IS" you are accepting and understanding the amount of risk.

Customer accepted a discount and bought the car AS IS. We did offer to buy it back with a restocking fee, just like Verizon. There is cost involved to making delivery of a vehicle.  It was more than $2,700 customer is inaccurate. We have read on forums that there is a much easier fix for the...

IMA light. At $2,900 to fix a car is a ridiculous retail price form a Honda dealer. Our computer said that the check engine light was an O2 sensor. It can be driven with the IMA light but just as a regular car, meaning no electric. The car was sold AS IS and the customer is acknowledging this part of the contract he signed. We did not force him to purchase the car. It was a 12 years old with 130k plus miles for $3,300. We are sorry that he is unhappy with the outcome but we did not do anything intentional to hurt anyone.

One Saturday I spoke with C & C builders in Norman Oklahoma and loved their homes. They call me right back and set an appointment with me on Sunday at 1:30pm. Circumstances where going to make us late so I immediately called and let them know. They call me back and wanted to reschedule for next week. We were only going to be 10-15 minutes late. We where looking to find a builder, so this would have been a big deal. Which means they were only allowing for a 30 minute meeting. Then the following text transpired.
Hi, XXXX we were disappointed that you weren't able to make your appointment. We typically don't work in Sundays like realtors but wanted to let you in the houses while there were no workers, If you decide you want to meet, let us know. We build an exceptional house.

Ok thanks, I was going by the appointment time an date you suggested. I understand about Sunday's Just for clarification we were just running late by 10 minutes so I call to let you know we were on our way, you opted to reschedule, which was surprising. I know you build great houses and I'm disappointed. Best wishes but we will be looking at other builders at this time.

To be coming from XXXX to [redacted], and you said your husband was just getting in the shower, because his run lasted longer that he though, would hardly be 10 minutes. We just think it's best you look for other builders, we expect consideration and respect from our customers. (They were told that my husband was just getting out of the shower and we would be no more than 15 mins late)
my reply back
Really - I was in no way trying to disrespect you sir/ma'am, however your commit imply so is hurtful. Sometimes husband are difficult to motivate to get places ontime. I called to let you know in an effort to be respectful. I love your homes and was disappointed. Again I was letting you know we were goin to speak with other builders at this time didn't mean the door was completely shut, just an attempt to be upfront. You jumped right to conclusion that we are disrespecting you ans sent this ugly message. I'm shocked. Again best wishes.
Please let this pass and have a gracious day. No more text please
Their last reply - Oh my goodness. Please don't text us again. We hope you find a builder you can work with!
That was the last text.
As a consumer and potential customer I would expect much better. I guess it is a good thing that this happened at the get go. We are looking to build a 300k to 400k home and they are the ones demanding respect, how about the customer. Really? I am totally shocked and dismayed. Thank you lord for your protecting me from a bad builder.

Review: I have a contracted job for my house repairs that has not be honored.Desired Settlement: 4,100 for the payment I made to have the repairs done to my home.

Business

Response:

There were changes that had been made to the repairs that we had no been updated on. We ordered windows and the consumer has changed there mind. My wife and I were opening a restaurant and we had discussed using the refund from the windows to help us start our business. I hope to have her refund within the next month.
