C & C Clean Team Enterprises

I am writing you to inform you of the damage Widmer's Cleaning services has caused to my personal belonging as well as the extreme lack of customer service I received at the [redacted] location on [redacted] road from manager, [redacted].

Upon reviewing Widmer's certifications I entrusted my $207 purse to the company for cleaning on March 27th. After calling the [redacted] location and speaking to [redacted] it was determined that Widmer's would do its best to remove the marker that had gotten on to the leather and fabric of the bag. Although I was aware that Widmer's might be unable to remove the entire stain I never expected for my bag to be ruined. While dropping off my personal belonging the manager, [redacted], remarked that I should "not keep markers in my bag." The situation had clearly already upset me before I entered her store, the comment was unnecessary and completely unprofessional.

After four weeks with no contact from [redacted] or any other of the [redacted] employees I visited the store to find that my bag had been stuffed into the outside pocket and dry cleaned incorrectly, thus ruining the leather, fabric and shape of the bag. The representative at the store offered me a time when [redacted] would be working to enable me the best service possible as she was unsure what to do in the situation. The first cleaning damaged the entire structure of the bag, the fabric and the color of the leather. The way that Widmer's "cleaned" the leather caused dye to bleed across the white fabric staining it yellow. [redacted] saw that I was not pleased and had the cleaning redone.

Another four weeks had passed after the bag had been taken back by Widmer's in an attempt to fix the mistakes and I was not contacted. I called the store daily beginning Monday, May 26th through Wednesday, May 28th until I was able to receive some clarity on the situation. I spoke with [redacted] the morning of May 29th at which time she stated I could come in and see my bag, but she was still concerned with the color of the leather and the shape of the bag. [redacted] compensated me for the dry cleaning as she stated she knew that the bag was ruined by the first cleaning attempt. After receiving my bag I was exiting the store as [redacted] shouted in front of another customer, "Do not put markers in your bags anymore." The first incident was rude, but the second time was completely disrespectful and arrogant. I will no longer be giving Widmer's any of my dry cleaning business. I have been a loyal customer for one year.
