In response to the complaint filed by [redacted] ***We replaced Mr ***'s roof at the end of the year with a new limited lifetime shingle roofOur company gives a year workmanship warranty on all work that we doThis was explained to Mr [redacted] at the time of the roof replacementThe limited lifetime warranty on the roofing material used is done thru the shingle manufacturer and is not a warranty from our companyI spoke to Mr [redacted] in May and he expressed that he had some shingles blow off his roofIt was explained to him that his workmanship warranty thru our company was long past and that he was responsible for the cost of the roof repairsHe agreed and we did the repairs at that timeA few months later he called and said that more shingle blew offI explained to him that I was very busy at the moment and was unsure of when I could get to that area of town to repair itI also explained that it would not be a covered repair as the warranty period was long expired and that if he needed it repaired immediately that he was welcome to have it repaired by someone who could get to it sooner than we could. We feel that we are not responsible for the shingle blowing offWe have had several bad wind storms in the area this year and there has been a good bit of damage that has occured throughout the area because of those storms. This Roof was replaced almost years ago and has been just fine until these storms this yearIt is unfortunate that these damages occured but we can not be held responsible for storm damage so long after our warranties expire. We will reach out to Mr [redacted] and gladly discuss his options for repairs and will be happy to work with him to the best of our ability to get this matter resolved.Sent from my iPhone

to make the repairs. We will provide the labor and include the cost of the materials as well at no cost to you. We cannot include the cost of the lift or any other equipment that may be necessary to reach the damaged area, we are willing to make the repairs as a "Good Faith" gesture to you as our customer but not because we feel responsible for the damage. As you are aware the winds in Pittsburgh were in excess of 50 mph. during that storm and the damage to your building being 3 stories up near the river made an unfortunate target for the winds. As you have noticed the nails are still firmly attached to the fascia boards and the aluminum coil stock was blown with such force that it was ripped free and the nails remained resulting in the airborne metal. These damages are similar to those repeated all through the area during this storm. We feel that it is unfortunate but we don't feel responsible. If you would like us to help under our conditions please contact me so that we can make arrangements. If you decide to go through your insurance or otherwise we wish you the best for the resolution of this matter.Regards,Chris B[redacted]Owner C&C Home Remodeling[redacted]  July 27, 2017It was explained to us that other work was being done at the property and a lift would be on site. lifetime warranty on the roofing material used is done thru the shingle manufacturer and is not a warranty from our company. I spoke to Mr [redacted] in May 2017 and he expressed that he had some shingles blow off his roof. It was explained to him that his workmanship warranty thru our company was long past and that he was responsible for the cost of the roof repairs. He agreed and we did the repairs at that time. A few months later he called and said that more shingle blew off. I explained to him that I was very busy at the moment and was unsure of when I could get to that area of town to repair it. I also explained that it would not be a covered repair as the warranty period was long expired and that if he needed it repaired immediately that he was welcome to have it repaired by someone who could get to it sooner than we could. We feel that we are not responsible for the shingle blowing off.
