Review: On April 16,2014, I had purchased a Side-by-Side refrigerator from C.C. Mitchell, located at: 3001 Royalton Road, Broadview Heights, 44147. The make is Frigidaire, model:FPUS2686LF0,Serial#[redacted]. It was delivered on April 18. The following day the refrigerator had started freezing the food on the refrigerator side and the chill drawer would not open easily.I called immediately to report the problem, spoke with J[redacted] the sales manager at C.C. Mitchell. The repair man came on April 21,from EAZY Appliance. The repair man demanded an invoice because the refrigerator is old and it will not be covered under the warranty. Now, the salesman never ever told me that this is an old refrigerator or this is a floor model. J[redacted] indicated, this is a top-of-the-line refrigerator. In my mind, this is a 2014 model. To make the long story short, the repairman has been in our house three times to fix it, but the problem still is the same, no changes. On May 16, I had called J[redacted], explaining the problem. J[redacted]'s reply was that he couldn't do anything about it. Then, he referred me to the Frigidaire manufacture, I called them on May 20, I was told that C.C. Mitchel is responsible for replacing the refrigerator.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a replacement with a 2014 model Frigidaire free of any problems. If not, refund in the amount of $1,728.54 and a refund for weekly foods was destroyed such as cheese, butter, meats, fruits and vegetables, in the amount of $850.00 a total of $2,578.54. Then, C.C. Mitchell could have his refrigerator back.

On April 11, 2014 [redacted] purchased a bisque 26 Cu. Ft. Side by Side refrigerator from C. C. Mitchell Supply which she paid $1,050.84 by credit card. This item was shipped to her on April 14, 2014. Then on April 15, 2014 Mrs. [redacted] wanted to exchange her refrigerator for one that had a meat drawer included. C. C. Mitchell then sold her a stainless steel 26 Cu. Ft. Side by Side model which included the drawer. Mrs. [redacted] was at C. C. Mitchell and looked at one of our floor models to make sure it was what she wanted. On April 18, 2014 C. C. Mitchell shipped the new refrigerator from our warehouse crated and in a box, which she paid for by credit card again less the first purchased item.

May 9, 2014 Mrs. [redacted] called C. C. Mitchell to state that the unit chill drawer was freezing. We contacted our Frigidaire certified repair center Eazy Appliance who scheduled an appointment to check the unit. Eazy’s technician checked unit and temperature was low because it was on the lowest temperature. Unit was working properly. Again on May 16, 2014 the same scenario happened and the technician reset it again.

May 27, 2014 we accommodated Mrs. [redacted] and sent a technician out for the third time setting was again at the lowest setting. The unit functions properly.

On the food that Mrs. [redacted] claims she has lost during this time frame, it is strictly a manufacture issue. We gave her the manufacture service phone number.

Improper setting of temperature control by consumer is neither a manufacturing defect nor a genuine service issue. It appears no matter how hard we try, we are unable to satisfy Mrs. [redacted]. Accordingly upon return to our warehouse and inspection of the product we will issue a complete refund in the same manner of the customer’s payment.

C. C. Mitchell has been in business sense 1951 due to its products and quality of service.

We treat each customer equally and value them. We accommodated Mrs. [redacted]s no differently.

C. C. Mitchell will refund the total amount of the refrigerator and make arrangements to have it picked up. It will be the full amount that she paid for the refrigerator $1,728.00.

Review: I ordered a new Frigidaire dishwasher and cook top from C.C. Mitchell in the October 2012. They had an issue getting me the cook top I wanted so they convinced me to purchase the cook top that was sitting in their showroom. They failed to tell me that it is an induction cook top which will not allow regular pans/pots to work. I was told I would have to purchase all new stainless steel pots/pans for the unit to work. I said I do not want this and want what I ordered. They refused to take it back. The dishwasher they sent would not thoroughly clean the dishes. It is a high end Frigidaire with stainless steel inside. The Frigidaire Service Rep. came out and explained that it looks like an old unit that could possibly have been used before C.C. Michell refuses to replace.Desired Settlement: I want both items replaced immediately.

Prior to ordering the cooktop, Mr. [redacted] was notified via e-mail by [redacted] that the only cooktop we

could provide for the existing opening size was an induction cooktop. The original ordered induction

cooktop ordered by Mr. [redacted] was back ordered by the manufacturer, so after notifying Mr. [redacted], C.C.

Mitchell upgraded to another induction cooktop at no additional charge.

C.C. Mitchell has offered Mr. [redacted] to return the cooktop with full credit, which still stands. Should Mr.

[redacted] chose to return the cooktop we would subtract its cost from his unpaid balance of $3,440.57.

The dishwasher was serviced and complies with the manufacturer's standards.

While the order was delivered in November 2012, we were not aware of any problems until March

2013.
