I wanted to return a attachment with mild abrasion on the shaft. I was told I needed to buy another shaft if I wanted to return the Edger.
I purchased a edger attachment for a Husqvarna trimmer on April 24,2013. I gave the sales clerk the model of the trimmer and he stated that it would fit. Ask about the warranty and he stated they service all of the warranties. I didn't get a chance to attempt to use the trimmer until May 11,2013. The attachment didn't fit. I immediately return the item. First [redacted] was going to take the item and charge me a 10% restocking fee on something that had been on the floor since November 2012. I agreed to that because the attachment was useless to me now. He then look at the mild abrasions and said that I would have to purchase a shaft for $64. I said that I'm not going to do that. When I purchased it I asked for his help and he stated that it would work. Why should I pay for a new shaft when the only thing he would do was to give the next customer a 10% discount if they asked about the abrasions. This is not fair. There was any damage done to the shaft or its working components. The attachment was a Husqvarna DX Edger Attachment. The receipt number is XXXXX purchased with a Visa card on the 24th of April 2013. Total purchased price was $117.65.
