I bought a 2002 [redacted] with about 80,000 miles on it from [redacted]. I was told it was a good car. I was also told they purchased me a 3,000mile/3 month powertrain warranty from [redacted]. 1-2 week after we bought the car it broke down and has been at a service garage. I have put nearly $600. in work on the vehicle so far. The radiator had a hole in it and has been replaced. I just found out the head gasket is blown, rear brakes and rotors were rusted and almost gone, the stabilizers need replaced, and the water pump needs replaced. None of this is covered under the warranty that I was told covered the powertrain. These repairs will total at $3000. for a 10 yr old vehicle that I paid $5500. for and was told it was a good car and they did an inspection on it.
