Dined at the restaurant on Sunday morning, during this visit a client and myself received excellent service from our waitress by the name of ___. Towards the end of our visit it began to get busy and we received our check. The confusion on the check was that there was listed a tax 1 & tax 2. After seeing that _____ was too busy to ask the question to, we both went to the cashier's counter and asked why there was two taxes listed. The young lady by the name of "______" just point to a sign that states between a certain time frame there is an additional gratuity charge on the bill. My client explained to the ____ that she was willing going to give ____ a tip. ______ then made the comment stating, "Whats the big deal? Just add to it." The tone of voice in which she had with the both of us was totally unacceptable. Not only did she escalate the problem but she began walking through out the restaurant yelling at us. I asked another one of the employees could I speak to the manager and she stated there was no manager on duty and informed me that I would need to call back and ask for one. I called to the restaurant on Tuesday and asked to speak with a manager, this is when I spoke to ____. Problem number one is that I had to repeat the problem three times to her and she still didn't understand what happened. I frankly did not understand how she was the manager with that comprehension level. Problem number two is that she stated there was no employee at that location by the name of ____. Then at the end of the conversation, she change her story and said that _____ was not working on that day. Problem number three is that _____ was talking and yelling through the phone and _____ began to take her side. To add insult to injury she asked me why I got loud with her employee. First of all, her employee was not only rude but totally disrespectful to me and my client. When I asked ____(after the fourth time repeating the problem)if there was a corporate office or if there was anyone over her she lied again and stated no. I discontinued the conversation with ____ and called the other restaurant located in Ballwin. I spoke with the manager at that location and she informed me that a ______ was over ___ and she should have referred me to her regarding customer complaints. I will not return the this establishment ever. From the management to the customer service staff they are an embarrassment to the St.Louis restaurant chain.
