Review: After a failure to deliver a rented slip n slide that I prepaid for I was told I would receive a refund which I still have not gotten to this day.

C More Party Rentals was supposed to deliver an inflatable slip n slide to my home on Friday, Sept. 20, 2013. After contacting them several times they told me they were having issues due to bad weather. They told me deliveries started late but were being done as weather permitted. They never called and they never showed up. I called the next day and they asked if I still wanted it delivered. I told them the party was supposed to start at 12:00pm and they said they would deliver. They never called and they never showed up. I called again and they said they weren't going to deliver. I asked and was told I would receive a refund credited to my credit card. I never received a credit. After waiting a month I called back and was told they had this issue with another customer and they were going to send me a check. I was told I would receive it by the end of the week. I called November 3rd. The check never showed up. I called again and was told that the woman who handled the checks should have mailed them and that they would call me back. I never got a call. I tried calling again and now they aren't answering my calls. Desired Settlement: I prepaid $165.00 for this service. The transaction cleared my credit card on 09-06-13. I would like a full refund of my money and some compensation for all the time I have had to waste trying to get them to act like an honorable establishment.

Review: I reserved a 22ft wave slide with C More Party Rentals towards the middle of April. An agreement of 324.75 was made to be paid in full upon arrival on May 24th and was to be picked up on May 28th.After hearing nothing from the company I contacted them to confirm on May 23rd. The owner then informed me the slide I reserved was " in the shop ", but would send me an upgrade since it was not what we ordered. They showed up at my residence at [redacted] cr [redacted] later that evening on May 23rd with two slides. Two young men set them up. They were dirty and obviously had not been cleaned since the last even they were picked up from. The slide labeled "Adrenaline Rush" had a hole in it about two foot long. One of the boys asked me if I had any duct tape. After I handed him a new roll of duct tape he used the entire roll to patch the hole.The owner called me and told me after the boys left that there was a mistake and they returned to down the decent slide and removed the duct tape so sew the hole. They placed a dirty liner and did not bring the two missing pieces to the slide. the slide was shorter then the one we reserved and was just straight down with no wave. I then contacted the owner again because I did not understand how this was an upgrade. After visiting her website I also seen where she posted the slide we had originally reserved to rent for the very same weekend a day before we were scheduled for delivery. She did not contact me and offer it to me first but offered it out to the public. She claimed she had two of the same slides and offered me a week during the summer for a free rental. After the kids slid on the slide it scraped up their elbows and my 7 year old son got the worst of it. His back was scratched up along with his elbows and legs which I have pictures of. There could be possible scarring. They called a day early and asked if I was home for them to get the slide. The boys showed up threw my daughters new $30 toy out of their way in the yard. Then ran over it on their way out.

Refund of our payment. They were not concerned with the fact my son was tore up at all. They called him a " wild man" There was an adult supervising the entire time. I did down play it to them at the time because we were still planning on using their offer for us to get a free rental over the summer for free. I have pictures to prove the damage their slide did to not only my son but my nieces and daughter. I also agreed to let them pay for the toys they destroyed, but now they are refusing to do

This letter is in response to the allegations made by Mrs [redacted] about the rental for the weekend of May 24th, 2013. As it is clearly shown in the message exchange between Mrs [redacted] and myself, every attempt was made to make her as happy as possible. Only after Mrs [redacted] began to harass and defame my business online did all communication cease. The slide in question was used by Mrs [redacted] and was used before and after the weekend she rented it without any issues or complaints from my other customers. In between uses, the slide was cleaned and cared for properly. I feel, as a business owner, that I am to try to the best of my ability to correct any and all problems that arise, but in this instance, while I am being told my slide is being used happily, I see defaming post about my business and equipment on Facebook. Services were rendered as the slide was used for the entire weekend. As I am sure you can tell from our message exchange, I did what I was allowed to do to make things better for Mrs [redacted] while things were fair and amicable.

Since the complaint I brought my son to the doctor because his wounds he received from the slide would not heal. His doctor determined he had a skin infection. I asked if it was possibly from the slide and he said yes , but to be sure to contact other guest and see if he was the only one. After contacting every guest and spending the entire day at doctor appointment after doctor appointment we have 7 confirmed cases of skin infections.I have contacted the health department. I also have pictures of every victim all being children ages from 2-11 years of age, along with notes from their separate doctors.
