Review: I purchased a vehicle from Carmen Pizzano and he was very nice at point of sale, though I have come top realize that he and hidden information from me about my vehicle. He started the car was in a little "fender bender" when asking about the damage he did not tell me there had been structural damage to the car. I paid $14,995.00 for a 2010 Honda Civic, that a year later when trying to buy a Hyundai Tuscan for the winter with AWD I was informed my car would only be valued at $6,000.00. I still owe $10,500.00 on the vehicle with $4,500.00 in negative equity. If I knew there had been structural damage to the cat I would have never purchased the car.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of all the money I put into this vehicle, including amount financed, my trade in, down payment and interest paid on this loan.

At C. Pizzano Auto Sales, Inc. we pride ourselves in our outstanding reputation in the automobile industry. We have been in business for 23 + years now and have received awards for our business practices and how we conduct business in our community and treat our customers. In 2008-2009 we received the very prestigious award of “Quality Dealer of the Year” through the PIADA, Pennsylvania Independent Automobile Dealer Association. We were selected from over 1400 independent dealers throughout the state of Pennsylvania. We have never had a complaint go to the Revdex.com. We make every effort to treat our customers as our friends and to treat them with utmost respect. We make it our goal to try to satisfy every customer, regardless of the amount that was spent on their purchase. We do this not only at the point of sale, but after the sale as well.

In regards to disclosing prior information about a vehicle, we are required by law to inform the customer about any type of major title issues and /or odometer discrepancy, if any. We chose not to sell any vehicle with these type of issues. For the vehicles we do sell, although not required to do so, we make it our practice to disclose any pertinent information that we are aware of. Information such as: history' of prior owners, number of owners, any accidents, service history, recent repairs, etc. We subscribe to, and run Auto Check Vehicle History Reports through Experian so we ourselves may find out all we need to know about a vehicle. This is a trusted source, by Experian for a thorough vehicle history report, that dealers and auction houses use. We answer any questions or concerns that the customer may have so that they can make a proper and informed decision during the buying process.

In reference to this 2010 Honda Chic, we were surprised to learn that the customer was dissatisfied after over a year of driving more than 15,000 miles without complaint. It was only after the customer tried to trade the car in at another dealership and was low balled on a trade allowance that we became aware of this situation. Once the customer stopped by to express their concern, we made every effort to allow this customer top NADA clean trade allowance for their car against another vehicle either on our lot, or if we were to get them something specific. This trade allowance turned out to be between $3000 to $4000 more than she was offered by the previous dealer. For whatever reason she decided not to go through with another transaction and decided to keep her car. We in turn received this letter a day later from the Revdex.com.

Accidents happen with cars every day. They are fixed correctly and put back into service all the time and continue to service their owners very well for many years to come. Just because a car has had an accident does not mean that it is now a bad car. As **. [redacted] has stated, she was informed of all information that we were aware of, including 1 accident that was reported on this vehicle approximately 1 year before her purchase. She was shown an Autocheck Vehicle History Report which we still have on file today. It states, “1 Accident reported through accident data sources.”

In closing, these are the facts of **. [redacted] purchase. We at C. Pizzano Auto Sales, Inc. feel that we have been completely honest and up front in disclosing all details about this transaction, as well as all business that we conduct on a daily basis. We are disappointed that **. [redacted] was not satisfied, but we have made every reasonable effort on our part to resolve this issue.
