I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I was under the impression that *** *** was going to be the one to fix my Amigo, I did not expect *** to be the one working on it. I have seen ***'s work and knew him to know what he is doing when it comes to car'sI was helping them at the time to get there Uhaul business off the ground and teach them what they needed to know on how to run the Uhaul business, so I was there to witness ***' s work on cars, the only thing I ever saw *** do was some welding under cars, and stand around and drink beer, if I had known that *** was going to be the one taking my car apart, I would not have took it there. My block is completely empty, I had one bad piston number now I don't have any and he thinks he is justified in what he did. What mechanic is going to fix my Amigo now, I'm still paying a month for a vechile I can't drive, and have no hope of getting fix anytime soon

Customer stated that her 1998 Isuzu Amigo had been stuck in the snow and that her boyfriend had tried to free it by spinning wheels forward and reverse while over revving the engine repeatedly.  The engine started making a noise and running poorly.  She had the vehicle towed to CSR and...

called her insurance claiming engine failed due to snow.  Insurance adjuster examined the vehicle and confirmed it had spun a bearing and there was no external damage that caused the engine failure and the claim was denied.  An estimate of $2,000.00 to repair the 1998 Isuzu Amigo was made by CSR and accepted by the customer.  A deposit of $1,100.00 was received by CSR to begin repairs.  The engine was removed from the vehicle then dismantled to determine the extent of damage before ordering necessary parts.  For a 1998 Isuzu Amigo along with the vehicle's V.I.N. all parts showed to be available from various suppliers.  When the parts arrived they were incorrect.  After numerous calls to dealerships and parts suppliers, one dealership finally confirmed that internal engine parts for this particular engine was discontinued and obsolete.  Total labor owed by customer to CSR at this time totaled $636.70.  That also included repairs made to another vehicle, a 1999 dodge ram 1500 not mentioned by complainant.  A short block was located on E-bay that contained all parts needed to complete the job and would stay in the $2,000.00 budget, but was refused by customer.  CSR was then told by customer to box all parts and place inside car as plug was pulled on the job.  Refund of $363.00 was made to customer. As for reassembly of 1998 Isuzu Amigo, if such parts could possibly be found, any competent mechanic could reassemble unit with no problem. The amount initially paid for the Isuzu or still owed is irrelevant and has nothing to do with the complaints' accusations.

Review: C S R Automotive did an oil change on my vechile and 4 days later it started making a noise, so I had it towed to CSR they told me I had a spun berring, I gave them $1100.00 for parts and some labor. Three days after they got my money they told me they do not make the parts to fix my vechile, my moter was completely dismantle. The block is completely empty. Csr charged me $636.70 for labor. I went to advance auto to see if my parts is available, advance had everyting but the piston's which I found on ebay. They had the money to buy these parts. Csr threw my motor in back seat of my car in a million peices. Now nobody wants to put it back together because they don't know what Csr did to it, now I still owe $2100.00 on a car that I can't drive. It took me over a week to get an itemized bill because Csr told me he didn't have time, but they had plently of time to take my money.Desired Settlement: I want Csr to buy me a motor to put back in my vechile, since they felt the need to dismantle my motor so completely that it can't be put back together.
