C-Town Supermarket (W. 125th Street)

At this time, I have been contacted directly by C-Town Supermarket (W125th Street) regarding complaint ID ***, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:They did not accept responsibility for what happenedThey defended their policy about the coupon usage and they even denied
that the woman I spoke to was the managerThey also did not offer a refund for the two items that I stated would help resolve this issueI guess the $would just break the bankAt this point, I haven't been in there to shop nor will I everI have informed my family and friends as well as neighbors of how I was treated (my experience)If I was asked to recommend a market to shop in, C-Town on 125th Street would not be it!

Review: I normally shop in this supermarket because its close to where I live. I feel that the owners and the workers of this supermarket are racist and not afraid to show it. Today I went into the market to shop and I had two coupons to use. My two coupons didn't indicate they were not valid on items that are on store sale however the cashier said she couldn't accept them. She went to ask the manager Christina and returned with the same answer. I asked to speak to the manager and immediately the cashier began to speak [redacted] to another worker. I'm quite sure it was about me because the workers and a customer began looking at me and shaking their heads. The manager Christina came down to speak with me along with an unknown male. Her attitude was quite rude and very unprofessional. She firmly said NO to my coupons and mentioned that they can make whatever rules they want to because they own it. While speaking to me, she was shrugging her shoulders, rolling her eyes and as soon as I started to walk away she made a comment in [redacted] that caused her and the other workers to begin laughing. This type of behavior should not be allowed to happen to hard working, paying customers who live, work and shop in the community just because its privately owned. The owners of this store should have to answer to someone. How else can you guarantee people are being treated equal?Desired Settlement: I would like either a store credit for the two items in which my coupons were refused or a refund. The two items were a box of Lucky Charms and a Dawn dish detergent totaling $4.24. I would also like a verbal AND written apology for being treated with such disrespect. Both the cashier and the manager were extremely rude and out of order.

At this point, I haven't been in there to shop nor will I ever. I have informed my family and friends as well as neighbors of how I was treated (my experience). If I was asked to recommend a market to shop in, C-Town on 125th Street would not be it!
