Review: They refused to honor manufacturers coupons because the item was on sale. On 6/*/13 around 5:30pm I went to Ctown to purchase 3 bottles of the Motts 64oz apple juice that was on sale for $1.99. Upon checkout I presented the cashier with 3 $1.00 off coupons for the apple juice. She looked like she never saw a coupon before and immediately called the manager over. The manager looked at the coupon and asked her how much was the juice and he told me that I could use my coupons because the item was on sale and its like using 2 coupons which I can't do; when items are on sale it's like using a store coupon. I told him no store coupon was scanned and manufacturers coupons can be used on items on sale; you may not be used to people using coupons but you could honor it if you wanted to. He said he couldn't so I left without the juice. I called the next morning to find out the manager's name. I spoke to a pleasant "manager" who asked me what happened. I explained my ordeal, he apologized and told me that I actually dealt with [redacted] who is the owner of the store and that although I was right, they have to do what he says, and encouraged me make my complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I want an apology, as well as to get my 3 bottles of apple juice for $0.99, along with a free bottle for aggravation. I know I was right, and this could have been handled at the store level but the owner refused nor did he try to find a happy medium for both parties. The supermarket caters to a predominately [redacted] clientele, and me being a [redacted] female trying to save some money, the owner wasn't going to allow that to happen. They also need to state/change/revise their store policy in regards to coupons so this doesn't happen in the future

A CUSTOMER VISITED THIS SUPERMAKET AND PRESENTED A COUPON FOR 1.00 FOR MOTT'S APPLE JUICE 64 OZ. AS SHE PRESENTED THE COUPON TO THE CASHIER WE REALIZED THAT THE COUPON WAS NOT SCANNING, BECAUSE THE JUICE WAS ALREADY ONE SALE WITH A COUPON, SO WE REJECTED THE COUPON. AFTER CALLING THE WHOLESALER WE WERE ADVISED THAT THEIR WAS AN ERROR AND THAT THE JUICE WAS ON SALE NOT WITH A COUPON BUTAS A REGULAR SALE. THEREFORE THE CUSTOMER WAS RIGHT. PLEASE HAVE THE CUSTOMER RETURN TO THE STORE WITH THE COUPONS AND PICK UP THE THREE JUICES FOR .99. IN ADDITION WE WILL GIVE HER TWO FREE BOTTLES OF MOTT'S JUICE FOR HER TROUBLES. PLEASE HAVE HER FOR [redacted]. HE WILL COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION.
