Review: Let me begin by saying that the way were treated by the employee of this location was nothing we've ever experienced in any retail store. We found this location by an ad on [redacted] was the employee that assisted us with our purchase. We purchased a sofa and chair set and received it about two weeks later. When the sofa and matching chair was delivered, my husband realized the chair was dirty and damaged from the back. The bottom of the chair was also stained and ripped. One of the wooden legs had a missing a part which made the chair unleveled. My husband brought that to the attention of the delivery guys, they told us to contact [redacted] and he would take care of it. They had us sign a form for receipt of the furniture.Immediately after the delivery guys left, my husband contacted [redacted] told my husband to text him pictures of the damage. Once [redacted] received the pictures, he called my husband and told him he would contact the manufacturer to see if the chair could be replaced. But we would have to cover the delivery costs both ways, which would total about $80.00. My husband told him it was outrageous to ask for us to pay for delivery costs, when we paid for a brand new item, not a damaged item; that it was not our fault we received a damaged item. [redacted] responded by saying that he was hardly making any money from this deal! Since we did not agree,[redacted] said he would see what he could do. He later called and said his boss gave us two choices; we could keep the chair and accept a $80.00 refund, or we could have the chair replaced, but the delivery fees would need to be covered by us which totaled $80.00. We spent over $1,300 on the sofa and chair, $80.00 was a joke! I told him I disagreed because it was not our fault the chair was delivered damaged. We paid for a brand new item, but we received a damaged item! [redacted] was very disrespectful and continued to say that he was not making money on the deal. He also said his delivery guys told him that my husband said everything was fine when the items were delivered, which was a big lie! My husband clearly informed them of the problems with the chair and they were the ones that instructed us to contact [redacted]! He also had the audacity to say that we signed for the delivery which means that we were ok with how the items were delivered. I asked to talk to his supervisor; he said that he was the supervisor. I told him I knew that was not true. I told him I needed to talk to the owner of the store because this was very unfair, he said that he was the owner, which was a big lie!. He then proceed to say he had to go and hung up on me! I found there was another location in Woodland. I called that location and spoke to [redacted]. I explained the situation and he apologized greatly on [redacted]'s behalf. He told me that I am NOT the only one that has had issues with [redacted]. This seemed to be a recurring problem. He was shocked that I was being told to have to pay for delivery fees and shocked overall with the way we were treated. Unfortunately, the owners were not available, gave us some advise on how to contact them.That same day, we received a call from [redacted]. He said, he agreed to replace the chair and that he would deliver it to us, but we had to take the damaged chair to him to the Sacramento store. I live in Rocklin, which is about 20-30 minutes from the store. We should not have to pay for gas and transportation since this was not our fault, yet we agreed to take the chair to him since it seemed we were not going to get anywhere with him. We took the chair and he said he would contact us when the replacement arrived to his store, which would be roughly 2 weeks. More than 2 weeks passed and we still did not have a call from [redacted]. My husband decided to call; [redacted] said the chair was there and that we could pick it. My husband told him that it was not what we agreed, he said he would deliver the chair to us.. [redacted] responded by denying he every said that! My husband told him that was not true, the he did say that. But he kept on denying it! At this point, were just disgusted by the service, the lies, and the treatment. We decided to go pick up the chair to just finalize this whole ordeal. We had to pick it up and put it together ourselves! This was not something we should have had to do.We had a lot of other furniture to purchase since we just moved into a new home. Unfortunately, CW Furnishings lost all our business due to the treatment, the lies, and the horrible and unprofessional service. [redacted] is a risk to this business and the owner's need to pay more attention to the way [redacted] operates that location. They seem to be unaware of what happens since [redacted] denies any access to the owners by claiming he is the owner. In our case, the owners ** and [redacted] will hear about our problem we had with our purchase. I am a business owner and I would not want to keep that type of employee working for my company.Desired Settlement: I want to be contacted by the owners of this establishment since [redacted] denies there is a higher authority than him. I know [redacted] is not the owner and I do not want him to contact me. I want to be contacted by ** or [redacted], the owners, to make them aware of this issue.

Review: I am filing a complaint against CW Furnishing. I recently about two months purchased some furniture from this place. The owner [redacted] told me that I have a warranty. I noticed that on my sofa the threading is coming apart on the back side, there is a scratch and a hole in my arm rest that goes to my loveseat. I contacted CW Furnishing and I spoke to [redacted] and I told him about my furniture and he told me that he needs to send it to the company and I need to send photos. I sent several photos to the owner [redacted] email address because I was told he was out of the country so [redacted] forward the emails to [redacted] back and forth (I was told). I asked if my furniture could be replaced or fixed. But I still haven't received a response. I called the [redacted] company and spoke to [redacted] and I was told that [redacted] didn't send my information and pictures to them. I asked [redacted] if it was possible to get my furniture replaced he was no help and he told me that he will have someone call me back and that I have to speak to the store CW Furnishing. I called CW Furnishing and spoke to [redacted] and I asked if [redacted] sent my information and he said he didn't know. I informed [redacted] I would like my furniture replaced or fixed, if not I can give this furniture back and they could just give me the money I paid for. Also I am paying this furniture off to [redacted] so CW Furnishing already received full payment of $1479 for my furniture and I am just paying it back. I feel they are not trying to assist me because they already received the money. I bought furniture before and I had a year warranty on my other items I purchased.Desired Settlement: I would like my furniture replaced, exchanged or fixed. If not I could give them this furniture back and I would like the money I paid. I have receipts and photos upon your request. Also I can show the call log between me and CW Furnishing.

Consumer states that the issues with CW Furnishings have been resolved. Consumer states that she contacted the owner directly to explain the situation. The business then went ahead and replaced the damaged portions on the back of the sofas.
