The venting pipe for the boiler was not properly installed according to the boiler manufacturer and manual
The termination pipe caused discoloration to the vinyl siding and damage to the foundation
The power vent blower was not tightened and left loose after the pipe vent was installed This caused the gasket to break away from the blower which in turn caused the blower to leak a burnt gas exhaust odor inside the home
Gas valve was replaced unnecessarily
Residents are suffering the following symptoms: burning and watery eyes, burning sensation in nostrils and throat, nausea, breathing of exhaust fumes, the smell of exhaust odor (including on clothes, furnishings and pet cat) and a foul taste on lips and in mouth which prevents residents from enjoying and tasting food
Residents are forced to keep bedroom doors closed in an attempt to prevent the odor from entering
Residents are forced to periodically open windows and or doors in an attemp
