C2 Contracting

Review: C2 contracting was hired to complete 2nd floor bathroom remodeling on 10/16/15. Took half of the final pay as down payment on the first day. Only finished demo then claimed that they could not finish the work, would like to refund to cover the difference for the next contractor to complete the work. Then uses every possible excuses not to fully refund. This is a scam act.Desired Settlement: Refund to cover the difference

Review: Contracted to have roof, gutters and demo of front porch and reconstruction of new front porch. Upon completion several items were immediately noticed and brought to my contacts attention. After many attempts to have it looked, and noticing more and more things were incorrect, I had someone else "go over" the work done only to find out that my "new roof", was a "roof over" and not done in the correct way for ventilation purposes. Not to mention the fact I was asked and paid additional money for "new wood" for the roof. The gutters are not flush and I was informed that may not make it through the winter. My front porch and roof were not ripped down and reconstructed, they were covered up with incorrect materials (actually, old wood can still be seen). Original contact amount for work was $11,300 and in the end I paid $14,450.Desired Settlement: Plan to seek full reimbursement. Nothing that was done is worth anything and all work needs to be re-done.
